This study examined the effect of air force soldiers' social support on their adaptation to military life and investigated the mediating effect of resilience. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 300 Air Force soldiers located in P-city, Gyeonggi-do, and a total of 269 copies were used in the final analysis. The research results are as follows. First, it was found that there was a significant positive correlation between social support, adaptation to military life, and resilience. Second, the social support and resilience of air force soldiers were found to have a positive effect on their adaptation to military life. Third, resilience was found to play a partial mediating role in the relationship between social support and military life adaptation of air force soldiers. These research results suggest that in order to improve the adaptation of Air Force soldiers to military life, measures to increase the social support and resilience perceived by Air Force soldiers are needed. Finally, based on the results of this study, the significance and implications of this study and the need for follow-up research were discussed.

본 연구는 공군병사의 사회적지지가 군 생활적응에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고, 회복탄력성의 매개효과를 알 아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경기도 P시에 위치한 공군병사 300명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 총 269부를 최종 분석에 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사회적지지, 군 생활적응, 회복탄력성 간에 유의한 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 공군병사의 사회적지지와 회복탄력성은 군 생활적응에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 공군병사의 사회적지지와 군 생활적응의 관계에서 회복탄력성이 부분매개역할을 하는 것 으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 공군병사의 군 생활적응의 향상을 위해서는 공군병사가 지각하는 사회적 지지와 회복탄력성을 높이는 방안이 필요함을 시사한다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의와 시 사점 및 후속연구의 필요성을 논의하였다.
