This study aims to understand the practice of transnationalism in child-rearing among married immigrant women by establishing the concept of transnationalism, reviewing related literature on child-rearing and young children's bicultural attitudes, and providing research directions and policy recommendations for social support measures. The results of this study indicate that married immigrant women in Korea practice transnationalism through various networks with their home countries while adapting to Korean society. Particularly, they tend to use community networks to share their child-rearing experiences, a form of the practice of transnationalism that previous studies predict will positively impact their young children's bicultural attitudes, self-concept, and identity formation. This study suggests the need to improve social awareness and conduct further research on active support measures to help young children of married immigrant women, who practice transnationalism in child-rearing, develop positive attitudes towards biculturalism and form their identity.

본 연구는 결혼이민여성의 자녀양육에서 나타나는 초국가주의 실천을 이해하기 위 해 초국가주의에 대한 개념을 정립하고, 자녀양육 및 유아의 이중문화 태도에 대한 관 련 문헌을 고찰함으로써 사회적 지원 방안에 대한 연구 방향 및 정책적 제언을 제공하 는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 본 연구 결과, 결혼이민여성들은 한국 사회에 적응하는 과정 에서 모국과의 다양한 연결망을 통한 초국가주의를 실천하고 있으며, 특히 자녀양육 경험을 공유하기 위해 공동체 네트워크를 활용한 초국가주의를 실천함으로써 유아기 자녀의 이중문화 태도, 자아개념 및 정체성 형성에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 것임이 선행 연구를 통해 예측되었다. 본 연구는 자녀양육에서 초국가주의를 실천하는 결혼이민여 성의 유아기 자녀가 이중문화에 대한 긍정적 태도를 가지고 정체성을 형성할 수 있도 록 사회적 인식을 개선하고, 적극적인 지원 방안을 위한 추후 연구가 진행될 필요성을 시사한다.
