This study reviews the outline and the manufacturing techniques the of Bricks of Nangnag and Daebang commanderies collection of the YooGeum Museum in Korea. The excavation of the remains excavated by Bricks of Nangnag and Daebang commanderies was exclusively conducted by the Japanese during Japanese Occupation, and most of the relics were exported to Japan. And there were many limitations in revealing the whole story because they are currently distributed and housed in various Japanese institutions through various channels. Under these circumstances, a total of 108 Bricks of Nangnag and Daebang commanderies owned by the YooGeum Museum were part of the Iuchi Collection, which was acquired in 2005, and were all published on Chosen Gasen Zuhu(朝鮮瓦塼図譜) published by the Iuchi Research Office of Ancient Cultures in 1976. In addition, the general production process of bricks organized through literature materials and folk examples of China that can infer the production process of bricks, and the characteristics and data values of production techniques identified in Bricks of Nangnag and Daebang commanderies were reviewed in each process. This paper summarizes the artifacts that can infer the acquisition process of Korean Roof Tiles and Bricks in Iuchi Collection and the area excavated. In addition, the production process from clay collection, soil making, molding, drying, and firing used to produce Bricks of Nangnag and Daebang commanderies was restored based on archaeological observations.

본고는 유금와당박물관에서 소장한 樂浪‧帶方塼의 개요와 제작기법적 특징을 살펴본 것이다. 樂浪‧帶方塼이 출토하는 유적의 발굴조사는 일제강점기에 일본인이 독점 실시하여 유물의 대부분은 일본으로반출되었고, 현재 다양한 경로를 거쳐 일본의 여러 기관에 분산‧소장되어 있기 때문에 그 전모를 밝히는데 한계가 많았다. 이러한 상황 속에서 유금와당박물관 소장 樂浪‧帶方塼 총 108점은 2005년에 인수된 이우치 컬렉션의 일부로, 1976년 井内古文化研究室에서 간행된 『朝鮮瓦塼図譜』Ⅰ에 모두 게재되어 있는 것임을 확인했다. 그리고 塼의 제작공정을 유추할 수 있는 문헌자료와 민속사례를 통해 塼의 일반적인 제작공정을 정리하고, 각 공정 속에서 樂浪‧帶方塼에서 확인되는 제작기법의 특징과 자료적 가치를 검토하였다. 이우치 컬렉션의 인수과정과 출토지를 유추해볼 수 있는 注記를 정리하고, 楽浪‧帯方塼 제작시에 사용되는 점토채취와 흙 만들기에서 성형, 건조, 소성까지의 제작과정을 고고학적인 관찰을 토대로 구체적으로 복원하였다.
