As interest in and expectations for Edtech in the field of school education continue to rise, concerns about the ethical side effects of Edtech are also emerging. With the accelerated advancement of educational technology employing artificial intelligence and extensive data analytics, alongside rising demands for immersive content and sophisticated educational games, there has been an intensification of ethical concerns. These concerns particularly pertain to the privacy of children's data and the safeguarding of their physical and mental health. To ensure the stable advancement of teaching and learning innovations based on educational technology, and to activate a healthy Edtech ecosystem, it is essential to conduct a comprehensive ethical review of the various imbalances that Edtech may cause.

학교 교육 분야에서 에듀테크 활용에 대한 관심과 기대가 점차 높아 지고 있는 가운데 에듀테크의 활용이 불러올 수 있는 윤리적 부작용에 대해서도 점차 우려의 목소리가 나오고 있다. 인공지능, 빅데이터 등을 활용한 에듀테크 개발이 본격화되고 실감형 콘텐츠 및 기능성 게임에 대한 수요가 증가함에 따라 아동의 데이터 프라이버시 문제, 아동의 신체적·정신적 건강 보호 문제 등의 윤리적 이슈가 대두되고 있는 것 이다. 에듀테크 기반의 교수·학습 혁신이 안정적으로 지속되고 건전한 에듀테크 생태계가 활성화되기 위해서는 에듀테크가 불러일으킬 수 있는 다양한 불균형에 대한 폭넓은 윤리적 검토가 필수적이다.
