The purpose of this study is to derive the degree of centrality representing the level of research and development cooperation among universities in the Chungcheong region and to analyze the combination conditions of factors affecting such centrality. To achieve this, social network analysis and decision tree analysis methods were applied to the 2022 R&D cooperation data among 54 universities in the Chungcheong region. The results revealed several characteristics: First, in terms of establishment type, national universities showed higher centrality compared to private universities. Second, among private universities, those with larger budgets, more full-time faculty, higher student enrollment, and a greater number of students who have completed field training exhibited higher centrality. Third, private universities with a larger number of faculty dedicated to industry-academic cooperation and a higher number of students completing courses through the capstone method also showed favorable centrality. Fourth, the most influential factor on centrality scores was the size of the university budget, indicating that a larger budget size positively affects centrality scores.

본 연구의 목적은 충청권 내 대학 간의 연구 개발 협력에 있어서 협력 정도를 나타낼 수 있는 연결 중심성을 도출하고, 이러한 연결 중심성에 영향을 미치는 영향요인들의 결합 조건을 분석해 내는 것이다. 이를 위하여 충청권 54개 대학 간의 2022년 연구 개발 협력 자료를 사회적 네트워크 분석과 의사결정 나무 분석 방법을 적용하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 나타난 특징은, 첫째 설립형태 면에서 국립대학들이 사립대학에 비해 연결 중심성이 높게 나타났다, 둘째, 사립대학교의 경우에는 학교예산이 많고, 전임교수 수가 많으며, 학생 수가 많고 현장실습을 이수한 학생 수가 많은 대학 들의 연결 중심성이 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 각 대학에 산학협력을 담당하는 전담 교수 수가 많은 경 우와 Capstone 방식에 의하여 수업을 이수 받은 학생 수가 많은 사립대학의 경우에도 연결 중심성 은 양호하게 나타나고 있다. 넷째, 연결 중심성 점수에 가장 큰 영향을 미친 변수는 학교예산의 규 모로서 학교예산 규모가 크면 연결 중심성 점수에 유리하게 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
