The purpose of this paper is the life and Gwonbeon activities of Jang Hong-sim, the formation of Baraseungmu through his later dance activities, and the formation of Baraseungmu through the curriculum of the Pyongyang Gisaeng School. Baramu, Baraseungmu, This is to discuss the Bara Seungmu, which was divided into Noh Seungmu and others. The research results are as follows. First, Jang Hong-sim is a person who contributed to the recognition of Korean traditional dance as a performing art by collaborating with Lee Kang-seon through his activities at the Classical Music and Dance Research Society in the 1930s. Second, Jang Hong-sim's transmission activities began in Hamheung, North Korea, and he taught many students while working as a dance teacher at the Hamheung Music and Dance School. Third, if we look at the aspects of those who studied and were influenced by Jang Hong-sim's traditional dance, the dancers include Yang Hak-ryeon and There is Joheung-dong, In the field of Korean traditional music, Cho Sun-ae and Cho Young-ja were students at the Park Chowol Korean Music Institute. These are also included. Fourth, Jang Hong-shimman’s Lee Seong-ja is the only disciple who has inherited unique dance moves. Accordingly, much attention is needed to inherit and develop the original form of the disappearing Janghongsim style traditional dance. I hope that follow-up research on Jang Hong-shim continues.

이 논문의 목적은 장홍심의 생애와 권번활동, 이후의 무용 활동을 통한 바라승무의 형성, 그리 고 평양기생학교의 교육과정을 통해 승무와 바라무, 바라승무, 노승무 등으로 분리었던 바라승 무에 대해 논의하는데 있다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장홍심은 1930년대 고전음악무용연 구회 활동을 통해 이강선과 호흡을 맞추면서 한국의 전통무용이 공연예술로서 인정받도록 하는 데 일조한 인물이다. 둘째, 장홍심의 전승활동은 이북의 함흥에서부터 시작된 것으로서, 함흥음 악무용학교에서 무용교사로 있으면서 많은 학생들을 가르쳤다. 셋째, 장홍심의 전통춤을 사사받 고 영향을 받은 이들의 면면을 살펴보면, 무용가로는 양학련과 조흥동이 있으며, 국악쪽에서는 조순애, 조영자 등 박초월국악연구소에서 문하생들로 있었던 이들도 포함된다. 넷째, 장홍심만 의 독특한 춤사위를 계승하고 있는 제자로는 이성자가 유일하다. 이에 사라져가는 장홍심류 전 통춤의 원형 계승과 발전을 위해서 많은 관심이 필요하며 앞으로 장홍심에 관한 후속연구가 계 속 이어지길 바란다.
