The purpose of this study is to find a direction for planning content that will establish local symbolism and cultural identity through the discovery and reexamination of local cultural figures. To this end, we first shed new light on the life and activities of ‘Geumjong Kang’, an important cultural figure in Sejong city. The research results are as follows. First, the writer Kang Geum-jong is a cultural figure from Sejong city who devoted himself to the independence movement in Japan, and his life and works need to be discovered. Second, as a historical resource, Kang Geum-jong is an effective local culture or historical and cultural content that can help the public understand the value of Sejongcity's representative cultural resources, cultural materials, achievements related to ‘Gyerim Dongji Association’, and literary activities. Also, as a literary resource, Kang Geumjong is the main stream of Sejong region literature and a major axis of history. Third, the direction of Kang Geum-jong's content planning as a cultural content material was explored. Content planning for cultural figures since it comes from character research, cultural character research should be planned in a way that integrates various topics. We discover the achievements of Kang Geum-jong and plan various uses for memorial events and constructed materials. What is noteworthy in all these contexts is the modern value of Kang Geum-jong as a cultural figure. The dramatic events of Kang Geum-jong's life must be narrated, and the character's way of coping with reality, such as nomadism, literature, and human agony, must be turned into content.

본 연구는 지역문화인물의 발굴 및 재조명을 통해 지역의 상징성과 문화적 정체성을 정립할 콘텐츠 기획 방향을 모색하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 먼 저 세종시의 중요한 문화인물 ‘강금종’의 생애와 활동에 대해 재조명하였다. 연 구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 강금종 작가는 일본에서 독립운동에 헌신한 세 종시의 문화인물로 그의 생애와 작품 발굴이 요구된다. 둘째, 역사자원으로서 강금종은 세종시를 대표하는 문화자원, 문화적 소재, 계림동지회 관련 업적, 문 필 활동 등의 가치를 대중에게 이해시킬 수 있는 효과적인 지역문화 혹은 역 사문화콘텐츠이다. 또한 문학자원으로서 강금종은 세종 지역문학의 본류이자 지역문학사의 큰 축이다. 셋째, 문화콘텐츠 소재로서 강금종의 콘텐츠 기획 방 향을 모색하였다. 문화인물의 콘텐츠 기획은 인물 연구로부터 비롯되므로 문화 인물 연구가 다양한 주제로 융합되는 형태로 기획되어야 한다. 이후 발굴된 강 금종의 업적을 선양하고 구축된 자료에 대한 다양한 활용을 기획한다. 이러한 모든 맥락에서 주목되는 것은 문화인물로서 강금종의 현대적 가치이다. 강금종 의 생애에 대해 극적 사건이 서사화되고, 이에 대한 인물의 현실대응 방식이었 던 노마드와 문학, 인간적 고뇌를 콘텐츠화해야 한다.
