This study aims to present an efficient methodology for building a global supply chain in cross-border e-commerce (CBEC), which is growing rapidly at an average annual rate of about 30% based on information and communication technology (ICT), the latest example of the 4th industrial revolution. In order to conduct a systematic study, based on the framework for conducting the study, we first derived three detailed options to consider when building a global supply chain for CBEC: a global supply chain model option, a global supply chain operation option, and a global supply chain entity option through prior research on CBEC and interviews with experts. Accordingly, based on representative case studies and expert interviews for each detailed option, an evaluation system was established to select alternatives for each detailed option of CBEC global supply chain construction. The main theoretical implications of this study are the expansion of the study to six CBEC global supply chain construction models, and the systematization of the research methodology for CBEC global supply chain construction plans, which takes into account external environmental logistics uncertainties. The main practical implications are the presentation of an evaluation system that can support CBEC participants in making rational decisions in order to improve logistics competitiveness in the CBEC global supply chain, along with case studies of major representative companies. This study aims to lay the foundation for improving logistics competitiveness in the CBEC global supply chain through rational decision-making.

본 연구는 4차산업혁명의 최신예 정보통신기술(ICT)을 기반으로 연평균 약 30%씩 급성장하고 있는 국제전자상거래(CBEC)에서 글로벌 공급망 구축 관련 효율적인 방법론을 제시하고자 하였다. 체계적인 연구 진행을 위하여 연구 수행 프레임워크(Framework) 기반으로 우선 CBEC 관련 선행 연구와 전문가 인터뷰를 통하여 CBEC 글로벌 공급망 구축시에 고려해야 할 3가지 세부 방안으로서 글로벌 공급망 구축모델 방안, 글로벌 공급망 운영 방안, 글로벌 공급망 수행주체 방안을 도출하였다. 이에 따른 각 세부 방안별 대표적인 사례 연구(Case Study)와 전 문가 인터뷰를 기반으로 CBEC 글로벌 공급망 구축 세부 방안별 대안 선정을 할 수 있는 평가 체계를 수립하였다. 본 연구에서의 이론적 주요 시사점은 6가지 CBEC 글로벌 공급망 구축모델로 확장한 연구이며, CBEC 글로벌 공급망 구축 방안을 위한 연구 수행 방법론을 체계화한 연 구로서 대외환경적 물류 불확실성까지 고려한 연구이다. 그리고 실무적 주요 시사점은 주요 대표기업 사례 연구와 더불어 CBEC 글로벌 공급 망에서 물류 경쟁력 제고를 위하여 CBEC 참여자들에게 합리적인 의사결정을 지원할 수 있는 평가 체계를 제시한 것이다. 이를 통해 합리적인 의사결정에 따른 CBEC 글로벌 공급망에서 물류 경쟁력 제고의 기반을 마련하고자 하였다.
