The issue of gender discrimination and bias in artificial intelligence has been a consistently addressed topic in AI ethics. However, noticeable improvements are still difficult to ascertain. Research categorizes and typifies reported cases over the past decade concerning gender discrimination in AI products and services, aiming to understand these issues and seek solutions. By classifying these cases according to the stages of AI product and service development, this study proposes corresponding approaches to address and mitigate gender bias. Gender discrimination in AI is not merely a technical concern but a societal one, demanding multifaceted responses that take this into account.

인공지능의 젠더 차별과 편향 문제는 인공지능 윤리에서 꾸준히 다 루어온 논제이다. 그럼에도 두드러진 개선이 이루어졌다고 보기는 어 렵다. 연구는 인공지능의 젠더 차별 실태를 파악하고, 대응안을 모색하 기 위해 최근 10년 동안 보고된 사례들을 인공지능 제품 및 서비스의 구성 단계에 따라 분류하고, 유형화하여 그에 따른 대응 방향을 제안 한다. 인공지능의 젠더 차별은 단지 기술적 문제가 아니라, 사회적 문제이며, 이를 고려한 다방면의 대응이 요청된다.
