The purpose of this study is to explore changes in school unification education under the Yoon Seok-yeol administration and find implications for morality and unification education through evaluation. The Yoon Seok-yeol government's school unification education can be evaluated as reorganizing the existing gradual, peaceful, and mutual understanding unification education into an ideology-centered, security-centered, and North-South confrontation-oriented unification education. Accordingly, the implications that can be found in morality and unification education through the Yoon Seok-yeol government's unification education are as follows. First, peace education must be emphasized in unification education. Second, unification education must take the perspective of student autonomy and inclusion. Third, understanding of North Korea must change from a perspective of confrontation and absorption and unification to a perspective of consensus and integration.

이 연구는 윤석열 정부의 학교 통일교육에 관한 변화를 탐색하고, 그에 관한 평가를 통해 도덕과 통일교육의 시사점을 찾는 것에 임무 를 두고 있다. 윤석열 정부의 학교 통일교육은 기존의 점진적, 평화적, 상호이해의 통일교육을 이념 중심, 안보 중심, 남북 대결의 통일교육 으로 재편성했다고 평가할 수 있다. 이에 따라, 윤석열 정부의 통일교 육을 통해 도덕과 통일교육에서 찾을 수 있는 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통일교육에서 평화교육을 강조해야 한다. 둘째, 통일교육은 학생자기 주체성과 포용의 관점을 가져야 한다. 셋째, 북한 이해는 대결과 흡수 통일의 관점을 합의와 통합의 관점으로 전환해야 한다.
