This study aims to develop an emotional intelligence competency model suitable for Korean children and adolescents. To achieve the purpose of this study: First, What are the components of the emotional intelligence competency model for children and adolescents. Second, are the components of the emotional intelligence competency model for children and adolescents valid. The Delphi survey technique was used to address the research question of this study, and the Delphi survey expert panel was 10 counseling professors with at least 10 years of experience working with children and adolescents. This expert panel reviewed the draft Delphi questionnaire created based on literature review, in-depth interviews with counseling experts and counseling practitioners, open-ended surveys, and expert advice. The mean, standard deviation, and mode of the Delphi survey were calculated using SPSS 26.0, and the content validity of this model was calculated on Lawshe's (1975) internal validity calculation formula. In addition, the Wilcoxon signed-rank test was used to confirm whether the Semi-Interquartile Range (SIR) range of the second and third feedback reflecting the expert's survey results was significantly reduced after the first survey. Based on these statistical data, the final model was reviewed and selected through consultation with a three-person expert research team. As a result of the study, the final emotional intelligence competency model for children and adolescents was derived with 3 competencies, 12 competency groups, 36 competency elements, and 72 competency indicators. The implications for the counseling field in Korea were presented through in-depth discussion based on the results of this study.

본 연구는 우리나라 아동청소년에게 적합한 정서지능 역량모형을 개발하는 데 있다. 이 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 첫째, 아동청소년 정서지능 역량모형의 구성요소는 무엇인 가? 둘째, 아동청소년 정서지능 역량모형의 구성요소는 타당한가?를 연구문제로 상정하였 다. 본 연구의 연구문제를 위해 델파이 조사 기법을 활용하였고, 델파이 조사 전문가 패 널은 아동청소년 현장 경험이 있는 상담학 교수로 최소 10년 이상의 경력이 있는 대상을 추천받아 기준에 합당한 10명을 최종 선정하였다. 델파이 조사 전문가 패널은 3차에 걸쳐 문헌 검토, 상담전문가, 상담실무자 대상의 심층 인터뷰, 개방형 설문조사, 그리고 전문가 자문을 토대로 만든 델파이 초안 질문지를 검토하고 수정 및 보완하였다. 최종 아동청소 년 정서지능 역량모형은 3인으로 구성된 전문가 연구팀과 협의해 가며 델파이 패널의 의 견을 반영하는 작업을 통해 개발되었다. 연구의 결과, 최종 확정된 아동청소년 정서지능 역량모형은 3개의 역량, 12개의 역량군, 36개의 역량요소와 72개의 역량지표로 도출되었 다. 본 연구의 결과를 선행연구와 관계에서 심층 논의하여 우리나라 상담분야에 시사하는 바를 제시하였다.
