New record of Tubaria squamata (Tubraiaceae, Agaricales) in Korea

During studies of the fungal flora of Mt. Odae National Park in 2021 and Mt. Sobaek National Park in 2022, an unrecorded species of Korea belonging to the genus Tubaria was discovered. Based on a combination of morphological characteristics and phylogenetic analysis of the internal transcribed spacer sequence (ITS), the species was identified Tubaria squamata. Additionally we described the macro- and micro-morphological characteristics of this newly recorded species in detail.
