This study aims to confirm the effect of parents' neglect, teachers' corporal punishment behavior, and negative self-awareness on school adaptation. Based on this, we intend to overcome the negative experiences of neglect and corporal punishment behavior experienced by parents and teachers, and to present specific intervention measures for adapting to school life. As for the research method, 2,592 elementary school students were selected among the panel data on the human rights situation of children and adolescents surveyed by the Korea Youth Policy Institute. Descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, and multiple regression analysis were performed as analysis methods, and the SPSS 18.0 program was used. The analysis results are as follows. First, there were differences in negative self-awareness, parental neglect, teacher punishment, and school adaptation according to gender. Second, among negative self-awareness, parental neglect, and teacher punishment, negative self-awareness was the variable that had the greatest influence on school adaptation. Therefore, it is necessary to stabilize negative self-awareness, expand emotional counseling programs to help students adapt to school in early adolescence, and improve academic achievement and emotional well-being by providing a positive environment and tools to adolescents.

본 연구는 초기 청소년기에 경험하는 부모의 방임, 교사의 체벌행동과 스스로 경험하는 부정적 자기인식이 학교적응에 미치는 영향력을 확인하고자 한다. 이를 토대로 부모와 교사로부터 경험하는 방임과 체벌행동에 대한 부정적 경험을 극복하고, 학교생활에 적응하기 위한 구체적인 개입방안을 제시하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이다. 연구방법은 한국청소년정책연구원에서 조사한 2020 아동청소년 인권실태 패널데이터 중 초등학생 2,592명을 연구대상으로 선정하였다. 분석방법은 기술통계분석, t-test, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며, SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 활용했다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫 째, 성별에 따라 부정적 자기인식, 부모의 방임, 교사체벌, 학교적응은 차이가 있었다. 둘째, 부정적 자기인식, 부모의 방임, 교사체벌 중 학교적응에 가장 큰 영향력을 미치는 변인은 부정적 자기인식 이었다. 따라서 초기 청소년기의 학교적응을 위하여 부정적 자기인식을 안정화 시키고, 학교적응에 도움을 수 있는 정서상담프로그램을 확대하고, 청소년에게 긍정적인 환경과 도구를 제공하여 학업 성과와 정서적 안녕을 향상시켜야 할 것이다.
