Medical tourism, one of the industries that has attracted great attention globally in recent years, is a convergence industry of medicine and tourism and is attracting great attention as a high value-added future industry. Therefore, this research is to revitalize Busan’s Medical Tourism for the growth of the domestic medical tourism industry. Specially, Busan Seo-gu Global Hi-Medi Hub Special Zone, it was selected in 2022, is the only local government among Korea's 226 local governments with four hospitals, including Pusan National University Hospital, Dong-A University Hospital, Kosin University Gospel Hospital, and Sahmyook Busan Hospital, and is competitive with excellent medical technology and infrastructure. At the Busan Seo-gu Medical Tourism Festival, festival visitors were set as the population to analyze the importance and satisfaction of visitors’ festival participation experience based on festival evaluation items. By conducting an ISA analysis of selected attributes for medical tourism festivals, this research propose improvement priorities for the current festival and suggest the direction of operation of local medical tourism festivals.

본 연구의 목적은 국내 의료관광산업의 성장을 위해 의료관광특구를 활성화하는 것이다. 본 연구에서는 2022년 처음 개최되는 부산서구 의료관광축제를 중심으로 의료관광축제 선택속성에 따른 중요도와 만족도 의 차이를 알아보고, 축제 만족도가 재방문의도에 미치는 영향에 대해 살펴 보았다. 또한 본 연구에서는 지 역 의료관광축제 운영사례의 실증분석을 통해 방문객의 특성을 파악하고, 의료관광축제 선택속성에 대한 ISA(Important-Satisfaction Analysis) 분석을 실시하여 지역 의료관광축제의 개선 방안에 대해 연구하였 다. 본 연구의 분석 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 시사점을 제시하고 향후 연구 방향을 제시하였다.
