As a basic research on the basic principles, principles, and theories of physical security from the perspective of a new integrated research and field of physical security, this research is a basic research on the basic principles, principles, and theories of physical security based on the concepts found in the relevant laws in the field of physical security, and analyses the results obtained by analysing the components and characteristics. Based on the concept of physical security in the dictionary and academic sense, the scope of the concept of physical security is defined as 'all security activities conducted for the purpose of protecting targets from intentional and diverse threats that can directly or indirectly affect human and physical assets in practice'. It also distinguished three factors as common components of the concept of physical security: target, threat, and treatment. In order to specify the specific targets, threats, and scope of activities, the results of the analysis of physical security-related laws in accordance with the components were divided into information-targeted procedural and management physical security laws and human physical security laws.

본 연구는 물리보안이라는 새로운 통합적 연구와 분야의 관점에서 관련된 다양한 분야 를 섭렵하고 그 특성을 종합하여 기초적 원칙과 원리, 이론에 대한 기초연구이다. 본 연구 는 물리보안 분야의 관련 법률에서 나타난 개념을 토대로 구성요소와 특성을 분석하고 나 타난 결과를 바탕으로 물리보안 개념의 기준을 제시하는 것이다. 사전적·학문적 의미의 물리보안 개념을 바탕으로 물리보안의 개념의 범위를 ‘실제하는 인적·물적 자산에 직·간접적인 영향을 미칠 수 있는 의도적이고 다양한 위협으로부터 대상의 보호를 목적으로 실시되는 모든 보안활동’이라 정의하였다. 또한 물리보안 개념의 공통적 구성요소로써 보안의 대상(Target), 위협(Threat), 대응활동 (Treatment)의 3가지 요인을 구분하였다. 구체적인 대상과 위협, 활동범위를 특정하기 위해 구성요소에 부합하는 물리보안 관련 법률 분석 결과 정보를 대상한 절차·관리 개념의 물리 보안 법률과 인적 개념의 물리보안 법률로 구분되었다.
