This study analyzes the relationship between the adoption of digital transformation technologies (under, DX techs) and the innovation performance of manufacturing firms in the Chungcheong region. According to the research findings, first, the adoption of DX techs is found to have a positive relationship with both process and service innovation performance in manufacturing firms. Second, the adoption of DX techs by manufacturing firms is relatively higher for process innovation performance compared to service innovation performance. Third, the impact of DX techs on innovation performance in manufacturing firms is moderated by innovation strategies, although it is observed to be relatively lower in terms of the magnitude of estimated coefficients compared to the direct effects. Fourth, according to the results of the group analysis, it is found that process innovation performance has relatively higher acceptance in the Chungcheong region compared to the capital region, whereas service innovation performance has lower acceptance in the capital region compared to the Chungcheong region. These results can be interpreted as indicating that the Chungcheong region, which has a relatively higher level of manufacturing infrastructure, exhibits higher acceptance of process innovation performance, while the capital region, which has a relatively higher level of service industry infrastructure, shows greater acceptance of service innovation performance.

본 연구는 디지털 전환 기술 도입과 충청권 제조기업의 혁신성과 간의 관계를 분석하 였다. 연구결과에 따르면, 첫째, 디지털 전환 기술 도입은 충청권 제조기업의 프로세스 혁신성과 및 서비스 혁신성과와 긍정적인 관계를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 충청권 제조기업의 디지털 전환 기술 수용도는 서비스 혁신보다 프로세스 혁신에 상대적으로 더 큰 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 충청권 제조기업의 디지털 전환 기술은 혁신전략에 조절되어 혁신성과에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났으나 측정계수의 규모 측면에서는 직접 효과에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 집단분석 결과에 따르면 프로세스 혁신성과는 충청권이 수도권에 비해 상대적으로 더 높은 수용도를 가지나 서비스 혁신성과는 수도권 에 비해 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 제조업 인프라 수준이 상대적으로 높은 충청권은 프로세스 혁신성과에 대한 수용도가 더 높으며 서비스업 인프라 수준이 상대적 으로 높은 수도권은 서비스 혁신성과에 대한 수용도가 더 높다고 해석할 수 있다.
