This study examines Mozi's main ideas, ‘Universal benevolence(兼愛)’ and ‘Respect for everyone’s interest(交利)’, based on equality and sharing in modern society, and seeks the direction of individual and community education in modern society. ‘Universal benevolence(兼愛)’ means loving everyone regardless of who is different from me. Mozi's humility implies the idea of equality, which can also be linked to equality in access to knowledge through the openness of information in modern society. In addition, Mozi emphasizes that what people love through humility and doctrine is to benefit each other. Humanity is important in the maintenance of community, benevolence is important in maintaining the community, but the guarantee of profits is also important. In modern society, in terms of a sharing-based society that shares mental and material sharing, Mozi's doctrine can consider the direction of sharing. The modern society is an information intelligence society. If the previous society valued ownership, vertical authority, and order, the information intelligence society based on the Fourth Industrial Revolution is going to an open society that transcends countries, races, and genders. Mozi’s ‘Universal benevolence(兼 愛)’ and ‘Respect for everyone’s interest(交利)’, such as an individual, while pursuing his freedom of freedom, while pursuing their freedom and value of the world's consciousness.

본 연구는 묵자의 주요 사상인 겸애와 교리를 현대사회의 평등성과 공유를 기반으로 살펴보고, 현대사회에서 개인과 공동체 교육의 방향성 에 대하여 모색하고자 한다. 묵자의 겸애는 나와 다른 사람을 구분하지 않고 모든 사람을 두루 사랑하는 것을 뜻한다. 묵자의 겸애는 평등사상 을 내포하고 있으며, 이는 현대사회의 정보의 개방성을 통한 지식의 접 근에 대한 평등과도 연결할 수 있다. 또, 묵자는 겸애와 교리를 통해 사 람이 두루 사랑하는 것은 서로 이롭게 하는 일이라는 것을 강조한다. 공 동체의 유지에 있어서 인류애도 중요하지만, 개인의 이익 담보도 중요 하다는 것이다. 현대사회는 정신적 공유와 물질적 공유를 함께하는 공 유기반 사회라는 측면에서 묵자의 교리는 공유의 방향성에 대하여 고찰 해볼 수 있다. 정보지능사회 이전의 사회가 소유, 수직적 권위, 질서를 중시했다면 4차산업혁명을 기반으로 한 정보지능사회는 국가, 인종, 성 별 등을 초월하는 개방형 사회로 가고 있다. 묵자의 겸애와 교리는 정보 지능사회를 살아가는 데 있어서 한 개인이 자신의 자유와 가치를 추구 하면서도 세계시민 의식과 연대 의식을 갖고 공동체가 직면한 환경, 빈 곤 등 공존에 대한 문제들의 해결 과정과 실천에 책무를 가질 필요가 있다는 것을 요청한다.
