Purpose: This study was conducted for the purpose of sharing and practically discussing the meaning of the concept of agency in elementary school by identifying the concept and constructs of student agency in elementary school and developing inventory to measure it. Methods: For this purpose, the questions were devised through literature research, the content validity was verified through expert review of the devised questions, and the construct validity was verified through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. Finally, the concurrent validity was verified by confirming the correlation with the reference inventory. Results: Agency of elementary school students was a concept consisting of 7 constructs and 32 items. The seven factors were 'positive self-belief', 'sense of moral responsibility', 'cooperative participation', 'self-determined learning', 'goal-oriented behavior', 'self-awareness', and 'practical expansion'. And the inventory for measuring this was verified through this study. Conclusion: Agency of elementary school students is a concept composed of seven factors interacting and constructing as a whole. In addition, it was found that elementary school students interact with themselves, colleagues, and teachers in the areas of life and learning within students.

[연구목적] 본 연구는 초등학생 행위주체성의 개념 및 구성 요인을 밝히고 이를 측정하기 위한 도구를 개발하여, 초등학생 행위주체성 개념의 의미를 공유하고 실천적으로 논의하 는 것을 목적으로 시행하였다. [연구방법] 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해 문헌 연구를 바탕으로 문항을 구안하였으며, 구안한 문항에 대한 전문가 검토로 내용타당도를 검증하였고, 탐색적 요인분석과 확인적 요인분석으로 구인타당도를 검증하였다. 마지막으로 준거 도구와의 상관관계를 확 인하여 공인타당도를 검증하였다. [연구결과] 초등학생 행위주체성은 ‘긍정적 자기 신념’, ‘도덕적 책임 의식’, ‘협력적 참여’, ‘자 기 결정적 학습’, ‘목표지향 행동’, ‘자기 인식’, ‘실천적 확산’의 7개 요인, 32개 문 항으로 이루어진 개념이었으며, 이를 측정하는 도구는 본 연구를 통해 타당성을 입 증하였다. [결 론] 초등학생 행위주체성은 7개 요인이 총체적으로 상호작용하며 구성하는 개념이다. 또한 초등학생은 학생 내부의 자아, 개인 및 공동체의 생활과 학습의 영역에서 자 기 자신, 동료, 교사와 상호작용하며 행위주체성을 발휘한다는 사실을 알 수 있다.
