In this paper, literature questions in secondary Japanese teacher recruitment exams were analyzed. This is because it was judged that new guidelines and curriculum are necessary for literature education in colleges of education, given that the Ministry of Education’s revised curriculum for 2022 has been announced. First, the current literature courses in the departments of Japanese language education at general universities and colleges of education were investigated as a preliminary survey, and it was identified that the number of professors and courses are in a decreasing trend. The scope of the survey is from 2009, which is after the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation presented guidelines for setting questions in recruitment examinations in 2008, to 2023. Excluding three years in which the examination was not conducted from the foregoing years, the targets of the survey are 11 years. Questions were set for an average of 7.9 points, and this is evaluated as a result that complies with the guidelines that set the standard as 8 points. However, questions for 6 points were set in the last three years, thereby showing a decreasing trend, and it was pointed out as a problem. In addition, the entire question contents and patterns showed a tendency to meet the guideline standards, but some cases where questions partially deviated from the standards were identified. In particular, the tendency for questions in which literature and culture are mixed to be set was judged to be a desirable aspect in accordance with the 2022 revised Japanese language education goal, which presented cultural education as a core competency. Next, the necessity of literature education in the curriculum of colleges of education was examined from various perspectives. Literature was seen as having great utility not only from a theoretical perspective indicating that literature is an accumulation of a nation's spiritual history, but also from the perspective of cultural education and language education. In addition, it was suggested that the ambiguous boundaries and concepts of literature and culture areas should be organized, and that guidelines for the compilation of literary texts and appointment suitable for prospective teachers need to be established

본고에서는 중등 일본어 임용시험에 있어서의 문학 문항을 분석했다. 현재 2022교육부개정교육과정이 발표된 점 등을 들어 사범대 문학교육에 있어서도 새로운 가이드라인 및 교육 과정이 필요하다고 판단되었기 때문이다. 먼저 사전 조사로 현재 일반대학 및 사범대 일어교육과의 문학 강좌를 조사하여 교원수 및 강좌수가 감소 추세에 있음을 확인하였다. 조사 범위는 교육평가원 주관 임용출제 가이드라인이 제시한 2008년 이후인 2009년부터 2023년까지이다. 이 중 시험이 실시되지 않은 3개년을 제외하면 그 대상은 11개년가 된다. 평균 7.9점이 출제되었고 이는 8점을 기준으로 하는 가이드라인에 부합하는 결과로 평가되었다. 다만 최근 3개년의 경우 매해 6점이 출제되어 감소 추세를 보이므로 문제점으로 지적되었다. 그 외 전체 문항 내용과 패턴은 가이드라인 기준이 유지되는 경향을 보였지만 부분적으로 이탈하는 경우도 확인되었다. 특히 문학과 문화가 혼합되는 문항이 출제되는 경향에 대해서는 문화교육을 핵심역량으로 제시한 2022년개정 일본어교육 목표에 준하여 바람직한 양상으로 판단되었다. 다음으로 사범대 교육과정에서의 문학교육의 필요성을 고찰했다. 문학이란 한 민족의 정신사의 축적이라는 원론적인 관점에서만이 아니라 문화교육이나 어학교육의 관점에서도 효용성이 크다고 결론을 내렸다. 그리고 문학과 문화영역의 모호한 경계 및 개념정리가 필요하다는 점, 그리고 예비교사에게 적합한 문학 텍스트의 편찬 및 임용 가이드라인 정비가 필요하다는 점 등을 부수적으로 제언했다.
