This paper examines the topography of Korea’s discourse on Zainichi Korean’s magazines, which began to invigorate since the 2000s. And since the 1970s and 1980s, Zainichi Korean intellectuals have already been summoned to the Korean public sphere, to consider the history of functioning as beings urging Koreans to reflect on their fixed historical perception. It was also tracked that Zainichi Korean’s magazines have been the subject of discussions in Korean academia about the transformation of Zainichi Korean’s national identity, antagonism over transnational solidarity and historical issues of Koreans abroad, and social discourse such as post– colonialism, minorities, and diaspora. In addition, on top of this consideration, this paper analyzed past and present of Kouro(抗路), which have remainning in existence of Zainichi Korean’s magazine. Kouro is conscious of its specificity and location as Zainichi Korean, and has been built a ‘the road of resistance’ to overcome discrimination and exclusion. In particular, in discussing the issues of specificity surrounding the nation, homeland, tradition, state, nationality, generation, etc. of Zainichi Korean, Kouro repeatedly attempted to break through the existing ‘Zainichi theory’ by being strongly conscious of the historicality of Zainichi Korean and the pluralism and polyphony of minorities. In addition, the importance of discovering voices from below that could not come out of the field of discourse, listening to them, and conveying them was discussed. In this way, Kouro presents the future of Zainichi magazine, starting from the special location of Zainichi Korean and resisting the complex discrimination situation against the socially disadvantaged in the present where all discriminatory situations appear complex and interlayered.

본고는 2000년대 이후 활성화되기 시작한 재일 코리안과 재일잡지미디어 연구에 대한 한국의 담론 지형을 살펴보고, 재일 지식인이 1970∼80년대부터 이미 한국의 공론장에 소환되어 한국인의 고착화된 역사 인식에 대한 성찰을 촉구하는 존재로서 기능한 역사를 되짚었다. 그리고 재일잡지미디어가 한국 학계에서 재일의 민족 정체성 변용 양상과 재외 한인의 초국가적 연대 및 역사 문제를 둘러싼 길항의 양상, 탈식민주의와 마이너리티, 디아스포라 등의 사회적 담론 등을 논하는 대상이 되어왔음을 검토했다. 또, 이 같은 고찰 위에 현재 재일잡지미디어의 명맥을 잇고 있는 『항로』의 도정을 분석했다. 『항로』는 재일 코리안으로서의 특수성/위치성을 의식하며 차별과 배제를 타개하기 위한 ‘항로’를 다져왔다. 특히 『항로』는 재일 코리안의 민족, 조국, 전통, 국가, 국적, 세대 등을 둘러싼 특수성의 문제를 논함에 있어, 재일 코리안의 역사성과 마이너리티의 다원성과 다성성 (多聲性)을 강하게 의식하며 기존의 재일론을 내파하는 시도를 거듭했다. 또, 아래로부터의 목소리 / 발화의 장에 나오지 못한 목소리들을 발견해 그것을 듣고 전하는 것의 중요성을 담론화했다. 이처럼 『항로』는 모든 차별적 상황이 복합적이고 중층적으로 나타나는 현재에 있어, 재일 코리안이 갖는 특수한 위치성에서 출발하여 사회적 약자에 대한 복합적인 차별 상황에 저항하며 미래의 길을 여는 재일잡지미디어의 미래를 제시한다.
