This study was a descriptive survey to determine the relationship between nursing students' perceptions of patient-centered care and their attitudes toward the withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment. The participants were 144 nursing students enrolled in two universities in Region C. The collected data were subjected to t-test, one-way analysis of variance, and correlation analysis using the JAMOVI 1.63 program. It was found that the experience of participating in patient-centered care program led to a negative attitudes toward the withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment. However there was no correlation between perceptions of patient-centered care and attitudes toward withdrawal of life-sustaining treatment. Based on the above, it is hoped that the results will be used as a basis for developing a program to help nursing students make moral decisions in ethical dilemmas.

본 연구는 간호대학생의 환자중심간호 인식과 연명의료중단 태도와의 관계를 확인하고자 수행된 서술적 조사연구이다. 대상자는 C 지역에 위치한 2개 대학에 재학중인 간호대학생 144명으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 JAMOVI 1.63 program을 이용하여 t-test, 일원배치분산분석, 상관분석을 시행하였다. 환자중심 간호에 대한 교육 참여 경험이 있는 경우 연명의료중단 태도에 부정적인 것으로 나타났으며(t=-2.02, p=.046), 환자중심간호 인식과 연명의료중단 태도는 상관관계가 없는 것으로 확인되었다(r=.05, p=.535). 본 연구결과는 향후 간호대학생의 윤리적 딜레마 상황에서 도덕적 의지에 따른 의사결정을 돕기 위한 프로그램 개발에 기초자 료로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.
