This study aims to explore the Pedagogical Content Knowledge(PCK) for cooperative learning and propose a direction for the design of online cooperative learning that reflects it. In order to achieve this, Focus Group Interview(FGI) were conducted with five experts to gather the practical knowledge of instructors that leads to learner participation and interaction. The PCK for cooperative learning was revealed through the Delphi method centered on the theory of cooperative learning. Subsequently, computer technology capable of effectively supporting these knowledge was discussed, considering the educational situations in which the knowledge is applied. As a result of the research, over 50 PCK related to the basic principles of cooperative learning and the educational practice of cognitive factors of cooperative learning were concretized. A direction for the design of an online cooperative learning program to support this effectively was proposed. The results of this study contribute to the innovation and development of university liberal arts education by concretizing the capabilities and knowledge necessary for instructors in cooperative learning. It also provides useful knowledge for designing computer-based educational platforms or programs for non-face-to-face online cooperative learning.

이 연구는 협동학습에 대한 교수내용지식(PCK)을 탐색하고 이를 반영한 온라인 협동학습 설계 방향을 제안하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 전문가 5인을 대상으로 심층인터뷰(FGI)를 진행하여 학습자의 참여와 상호작용을 이끌어내기 위한 교수자의 실천적 지식을 수집한 후, 협동학습의 이론을 중심으로 한 전문가 합의법(Delphi method)을 통해 협동학습에 대한 교수내용지식을 밝혀내었다. 이후 해당 지식이 활용되는 교육 상황을 고려하여 그것을 효과적으로 지원할 수 있는 컴퓨터 기술에 대해 논의하였다. 연구 결과, 협동학습의 기본 원리와 협력학습의 인지적 요인의 교육 실천과 관련된 50여개의 교수내용지식을 구체화하였다. 그리고 이를 효과적으로 지원하기 위해 필요한 온라인 협동학습 프로그램의 설계 방향을 제안하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 협동학습에 필요한 교수자의 역량과 지식을 구체화하였다는 점에서 대학 교양 교육의 혁신과 발전에 기여하고, 비대면 온라인 협동학습을 위한 컴퓨터 기반의 교육 플랫폼 또는 프로그램을 설계하는 데 유용한 지식을 제공한다는 의의를 갖는다.
