This article explores the position and tasks in which theology will be newly established in the future era that humanity will face after rapid changes in the social environment and the development of science and technology. To this end, this article examines the establishment of the relationship between philosophy and theology discussed in F. Schleiermacher in modern and M. Heidegger in recent period, and predicts the main contents of future theology to be presented in transhumanism as a future philosophy. The discussion takes place in the following order. Chapter 2 examines the establishment of a modern relationship between philosophy and theology through Schleiermacher, who pointed out the limitations and positions of theology in the background of transcendentalism. Chapter 3 examines the establishment of a modern relationship between philosophy and theology through the first Heidegger's position, which criticizes the positivity of theology in the background of phenomenological ontological philosophy, and the latter Heidegger, which reveals theological nearness in mystical reasons for Being itself. Through applying the above relationship setting, chapter 4 examines the position and task of future theology that will constitute itself in the philosophical situation of transhumanism. In conclusion, the position and task of future theology may make us feel appalled, and may also be revealed to us in a more bizarre way beyond this. But all of this, while it may not be easy for us, should never be considered anything negative. Because future theology is not for us as today’s humans who have not yet reached that future, but for them in a completely changed future that is already difficult to predict.

본 글은 사회환경의 급격한 변화와 과학기술의 발전 이후 인류가 맞이 하게 될 미래 시대에, 신학이 새롭게 자리하게 될 위치와 과제를 모색 한다. 이를 위해 본 글은 근대의 슐라이어마허(F. Schleiermacher)와 현대의 하이데거(M. Heidegger)에서 논의되고 있는 철학과 신학 사이의 관계 설정을 고찰하고, 그 결과를 통해 미래 철학으로서의 트 랜스휴머니즘 안에서 개진될 미래 신학의 주요 내용을 예측해본다. 논의는 다음과 같은 순서로 전개된다. 2장에서는 선험철학의 배경 에서 신학의 한계와 위치를 종교학적으로 지적한 슐라이어마허를 통 해 철학과 신학 사이의 근대적 관계 설정을 살펴본다. 3장에서는 현상 학적 존재론 철학의 배경에서 신학의 실정성을 비판하는 전기 하이데 거의 입장과 신비주의적 존재사유에서 신학적 친밀성을 드러내는 후 기 하이데거를 통해 철학과 신학 사이의 현대적 관계 설정을 살펴본다. 4장에서는 앞서의 관계 설정을 적용하여 트랜스휴머니즘의 철학적 상황 안에서 개진될 미래 신학의 위치와 과제를 고찰하게 된다. 결론적으로, 미래 신학의 위치와 과제는 우리에게 경악스러운 기분을 느끼게 하며, 또한 이것을 넘어 더욱 기괴한 모습으로 우리에게 드러날 수도 있다. 그러나 이 모든 것은, 우리에게 쉽지는 않겠지만, 결단코 부정적인 어떤 것으로 여겨져서는 안 된다. 왜냐하면 미래 신학은 그 미래에 아직 이르지 못한 기존 인간으로서의 우리의 것이 아니라, 이미 예상하기 쉽지 않은, 철저히 변경된 미래의 그들을 위한 것이기 때문이다.
