As AI technology is developing continuously and rapidly in the era of 4th industrial revolution, the education community is also preparing to use AI. However, the current attitudes of elementary school students toward AI has been negative, which can also affect AI competency. Therefore, in this study, we aim to improve their attitudes toward AI in the process of obtaining the desired result by using Generative AI so that they can feel a sense of accomplishment, and suggests prompt engineering education program. Since the ability to make prompt effectively is essential when using Generative AI, this study designed and applied an prompt engineering education program including the ways to use generative AI effectively, efficiently, and ethically, and various fields that can use generative AI technology. The result of the study shows that the general attitudes toward AI improved, and in particular, the scores of the sense of achievement and interest in AI increased significantly. On the other hand, since the study subjects took AI education before, which made the pre-test score of convenience of AI as a measuring indicator high, there was no meaningful improvement in convenience of AI.

4차 산업혁명 시대에 들어서며 인공지능 기술이 나날이 발전하고 있어 교육계에서도 인공지능을 활용하기 위해 준비하고 있다. 그러나 현재 초등학생들의 인공지능에 대한 태도는 부정적으로 나타났으며 이는 인공지능 소양에도 영향을 줄 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 생성형 인공지능으로 학생들이 원하는 결과물을 얻는 과정에서 성취감을 느끼고 궁극적으로 인공지능에 대한 태도를 개선하는 것을 목표로 프롬프트 엔지니어링 교육 프로그램을 제안한다. 생성형 인공지능 사용에서 꼭 필요한 것은 프롬프트를 효과적으로 작성하는 능력이므로, 프롬프트 엔지니어링 교육 을 통해 생성형 인공지능을 효율적, 효과적으로 쓰는 방법을 실습하고 생성형 인공지능의 활용 분야와 윤리를 포함 하여 교육 프로그램을 설계 및 적용하였다. 적용 결과 인공지능에 대한 태도가 대체로 개선되었고, 특히 인공지능 활용 과정에서 느낀 성취감과 인공지능에 대한 관심 등이 크게 향상되었다. 한편 인공지능의 편리함 평가지표에서 는 이전에 실시한 인공지능 교육으로 인해 사전 검사부터 점수가 높아 유의미한 개선을 볼 수 없었다.
