This study aimed to analyze the success stories of fusion and complex K-practical dance using Korean materials for performances that the public can sympathize with and enthusiastically enjoy, and to derive ways to revitalize practical dance. To this end, based on a review of previous studies and video analysis of performances, success stories of fusion and complex K-practical dance using three Korean materials were analyzed. As a result of analyzing the success stories of fusion and complex K-practical dance performances using Korean materials, first, it was found that creative communication and artistry were acquired using various contents, and second, creative works were produced through active collaboration with other genres. Based on this, it was confirmed that to revitalize practical dance, first, it was necessary to secure popularity through efforts such as convergence and complex performance repertoire through storytelling, and second, to secure artistry through continuous changes in the creative paradigm.

본 연구는 대중들이 공감하고 열광할 수 있는 공연을 위해 한국적 소재를 활용한 융·복합 K-실용무용의 성공사례 를 분석하고 이를 통해 실용무용의 활성화 방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구 고찰과 공연 영상분석 을 바탕으로 3개의 한국적 소재를 활용한 융·복합 K-실용무용의 성공사례를 분석하였다. 한국적 소재를 활용한 융·복합 K-실용무용 공연의 성공사례를 분석한 결과 첫째, 다양한 콘텐츠를 활용하여 창의적 소통과 예술성 획득 하고 둘째, 타 장르와의 적극적인 협업을 통해 창의적 작품을 제작하였다는 공통점을 발견하였으며 이를 토대로 실용무용의 활성화를 위해서는 첫째, 스토리텔링을 통한 융·복합 공연 레퍼토리화 등의 노력을 통한 대중성을 확 보하고 둘째, 창작패러다임의 지속적인 변화를 통한 예술성의 확보가 필요하다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.
