The purpose of this study is to establish a strategy for upgrading the agricultural education curriculum in the elementary school teacher training course. In order to achieve the research purpose, this study planned the advancement strategy establishment process of status analysis (clustering), strategic direction setting (Approach), and strategy establishment (Establish) and developed an upgrading strategy model. The strategic model for upgrading the agricultural education curriculum in the elementary teacher training course proposed in this study is based on the demand for change in the teacher training system confirmed through previous research and analysis of the current status of the educational training college curriculum, and agricultural education in the current elementary teacher training course. It consists of curriculum operation status and competencies of OECD Education 2030. In other words, a upgrading strategy is derived through a complex composition of these three elements. This strategy reflects social demands and school field demands related to the evaluation of teacher training institutions, and also presents the future orientation of the agricultural education curriculum in the midst of global education issues such as OECD Education 2030. In particular, the strategy of this study, which reflects the competencies of OECD Education 2030, is to go beyond traditional knowledge-centered education in a situation where interest in core competency-centered curricula is increasing, and to develop knowledge on one's own for the purpose of nurturing competitive talent required by the future society. It can also be said to be a practice of education based on core competencies that enable production and application.

이 연구의 목적은 초등교원 양성과정에서의 농업교육 교육과정 고도화 전략을 수립하는 것이다. 연 구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 이 연구에서는 현황분석(Clustering), 전략방향설정(Approach), 전략수립 (Establish)이라는 고도화 전략 수립 절차를 계획하고 고도화 전략 모형을 개발하였다. 이 연구에서 제 안된 초등교원 양성과정에서의 농업교육 교육과정 고도화 전략 모형은 선행 연구 및 교육양성대학 교 육과정 현황분석을 통해 확인된 교원양성체제 변화의 요구, 현행 초등교원 양성과정에서의 농업교육 교육과정 내용, OECD Education 2030의 역량을 구성요소로 하고 있다. 즉, 이 3가지 요소의 복합적 구성을 통해 고도화 전략을 도출한 것이다. 이와 같은 전략은 교원양성기관 평가와 관련한 사회적 요 구 및 학교 현장의 요구를 반영한 것이기도 하며 OECD Education 2030 같은 글로벌 교육 이슈 속에 서 앞으로 농업교육 교육과정이 나아가야 할 미래 지향성을 제시한 것이기도 하다. 특히 OECD Education 2030의 역량을 반영한 이 연구의 전략은 핵심역량 중심 교육과정에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있는 상황에서 전통적인 지식 중심의 교육을 넘어 미래 사회가 요구하는 경쟁력 있는 인재를 양성하기 위한 목적으로 지식을 스스로 생산하고 응용 적용할 수 있도록 하는 핵심역량 기반의 교육을 실천한 것이기도 하다.
