This study gave an overview of Yuje poems in Bohanjip and examined the overall patterns of Yuje poems according to spaces. Discussions were based on the division of spaces in Yuje poems into Jeongdae, Nugwan, Yeokwon, Sawon, and other spaces(the stonewalls and official residences in a village). The study emphasizes that Yuje poems involving Jeongdae and Nugwan should pay attention to poetic words and the length of a poem. Such poems should be written in a direction to help people passing by one of the spaces stimulate fun during a short stay. Yuje poems involving Yeokwon depict diverse people sharing their experiences in a traveling process and getting emotional consolation in many cases, thus focusing on revealing poetic sentiments rather than describing the sceneries of the season. The study also examined Yuje poems involving Sawon and other spaces. Literary figures had a chance to refresh their bodies and minds that were tired from daily life by visiting a Sawon. In this process, they would leave a Yuje work on a Sawon wall to pour out their emotions themselves or get comfort by reading works by others. Literary figures also shared their daily lives and emotions with Buddhist monks. Finally, they left a Yuje work on a wall of an official residence. This Yuje culture contributed to the distribution and spread of literary texts before the development of the printing culture. Yuje poems were included in all kinds of anthologies, poetry & painting collections, texts, and geographical books along with episodes and used by literary figures to share their emotions with their counterparts from different periods beyond time barriers. The findings of the study demonstrate the diverse functions of Yuje poems, whose examination will be the next task.

본고는 『補閑集』 소재 留題詩를 개관하고, 공간에 따른 유제시의 諸樣相에 대하여 살펴보았다. 留題詩의 공간은 亭臺와 樓觀, 驛院, 寺院 및 기타 공간(마을의 石壁과 公館)으로 구분하여 논의를 진행하였다. 亭臺와 樓觀의 유제시는 시어와 시의 길이에 유의해야 함을 강조한다. 이 공간을 지나는 사람들이 잠시 머물면서도 쉽게 흥을 일으킬 수 있는 방향으로 작시해야 한다는 것이다. 驛院에서의 유제시는 다양한 사람들이 행려의 과정에서 겪은 경험을 공유하면서 정서적 위안을 받는 경우가 많기 때문에, 경물의 묘사보다는 詩情을 드러내는 데 집중하고 있다. 寺院 및 기타 공간의 유제시를 확인하였다. 문인들은 사원을 방문하여 일상생활에서 지친 몸과 마음을 회복하는 계기로 삼았으며, 그들은 이러한 과정에서 자신의 정서를 직접 사원의 벽에 留題하기도 하며, 다른 사람들이 쓴 작품을 읽으면서 위로를 받는 모습도 확인하였다. 한편으로는 문인과 승려가 일상을 공유하고 정서를 나누는 모습도 확인할 수 있었다. 끝으로 문인들이 公館의 벽에 留題하는 모습을 확인하였다. 이러한 留題 문화는 인쇄문화가 발달하기 전, 문학 텍스트의 전파와 확산에 기여했다. 유제시는 각종 詩選集과 詩話集⋅筆記流⋅地理書 등에 일화와 함께 수록하고, 시간을 초월하여 다른 시대의 문인들과 정서를 공유하기도 하였다. 이처럼 유제시는 다양한 기능을 갖고 있다. 이와 관련해서는 다음의 과제로 미룬다.
