This study examines the possibility of expanding Hallyu cultural contents using tug-of-war, and the results of the study are as follows. First, as cultural content value inherent in Juldaligi, it was derived that it has play cultural value based on identity, philosophical value based on collective unconsciousness, and economic value as a tourism festival. Second, the expansion of Juldaligi as Hallyu cultural contents was classified into the expansion of originality through preservation and transmission, the expansion of community through spontaneity and participation, and the economic expansion through regionality and diversity. Third, despite the fact that the possibility of Korean Wave cultural contents related to Juldaligi started relatively late, it was possible to know its various possibilities. However, since research on Korean cultural contents related to Juldaligi is relatively insufficient, research on cultural contents of Juldaligi such as academic conferences should be doubled. This study examined the possibility of inducing the sustainable development of Hallyu cultural contents and enhancing competitiveness by utilizing tug-of-war. Through this, it is hoped that it will contribute to the development of ways to increase familiarity with tug-of-war and new interpretations of traditional folk games to increase added value.

본 연구는 줄다리기를 활용한 한류문화콘텐츠 확장 가능성을 고찰한 것으로 연구 결과는 다음 과 같다. 첫째, 줄다리기에 내재한 문화콘텐츠적 가치로 정체성을 기반으로 한 놀이문화적 가 치, 집단무의식을 기반으로 한 철학적 가치, 관광축제로서 경제적 가치가 있음을 도출하였다. 둘째, 한류문화콘텐츠로서 줄다리기의 확장으로 보존과 전승을 통한 원형성 확장, 자발성과 참 여성을 통한 공동체성 확장, 지역성과 다양성을 통한 경제적 확장으로 분류하여 살펴보았다. 셋 째, 줄다리기에 관한 한류문화콘텐츠 가능성은 비교적 늦게 시작되었음에도 불구하고 그 다양 한 가능성을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 줄다리기에 관한 한류문화콘텐츠 연구가 비교적 미흡하기 때 문에, 학술대회 등 줄다리기의 문화콘텐츠 방안을 연구가 배가되어야 한다. 본 연구는 줄다리기 를 활용하여 한류문화콘텐츠의 지속 가능한 발전을 유도하고 경쟁력을 높일 수 있는 가능성을 고찰하였다. 이를 통해 줄다리기에 대한 친밀도를 높이고 전통 민속놀이를 새롭게 해석하여 부 가가치를 올릴 수 있는 방안을 개발하는데 이바지할 수 있기를 기대한다.
