The purpose of this study is to research measures for revitalization through an analysis of the current state of the cultural heritage restoration training programs (basic, advanced, and on-site commissioning courses) operated by H Institute. For this study, a survey was conducted via email and telephone targeting 708 graduates of the cultural heritage restoration training programs from 2012 to 2021. The results of this study are as fallows. Firstly, the age distribution for the basic and advanced courses was mostly in their 20s and 30s, while the on-site commissioning course was dominated by those in their 40s. A significant portion had completed at least an undergraduate degree. Secondly, out of the surveyed respondents (172 individuals, approximately 62%), 116 individuals (approximately 67%) had acquired national technical qualifications, and they were employed in the field of cultural heritage restoration. Higher levels of training in the courses correlated with higher employment rates. Thirdly, factor analysis of education satisfaction showed four key factors: educational materials, teaching methods, employment-related education, and course duration. Fourthly, educational materials (4.20) and teaching methods (4.32) exhibited high levels of satisfaction, while employment-related education (3.89) and course duration (3.63) showed lower levels of satisfaction. However, there was no significant difference in satisfaction based on the type of training course. Fifthly, for the revitalization of the cultural heritage restoration training programs, improvements in educational operations, provision of employment information, and community building are necessary. This paper suggests that effective promotion and enrollment rates tailoring to the MZ generation should be considered for H Institute.

이 연구는 H교육원에서 운영하는 문화재수리기능인 양성과정(기초, 심화, 현장위탁 과정)의 실태분석을 통해 활성화 방안을 연구하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구를 위해 2012년부터 2021년까지 문화재수리기능인 양성과정 수료자 708명을 대상으로 이메일 과 전화를 통한 설문조사를 하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 기초와 심화과정의 연령은 20대와 30대, 현장위탁과정은 40대, 학력은 대졸 이상이 많았다. 둘째, 조사 응답자의 172명 (약 62%), 국가기술자격을 취득한 116명(약 67%)은 문화재 수리 관련 업종에 취업했 고, 양성과정의 수준이 높을수록 취업률이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육 만족도를 요인 분석한 결과 교육 기자재, 교육 방법, 취업 연계 교육, 교육 기간의 4개 요소를 도 출하였다. 넷째, 교육기자재(4.20)와 교육방법(4.32)은 만족도가 높게 나타났고, 취업 연계교육(3.89)과 교육기간(3.63)은 만족도가 낮게 나타났지만, 양성과정별 유의미한 차이는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 문화재수리기능인 양성과정의 활성화 방안으로 교육 운영상의 개선, 취업 정보 제공, 커뮤니티 구성이 필요하다. 제언으로 MZ세대에 게 맞는 H교육원의 홍보와 입학률이 제고되어야 한다.
