Barrier-free tourism can be said to guarantee the right to participate, which is the right of the tourist weak to travel, and to create a tourism environment so that the vulnerable can travel conveniently and safely. Therefore, this study aimed to derive academic approaches and practical implications of the approach using Importance-Performance Analysis of barrier-free tourism environment of Jeju tourist destinations in the province targeting cultural tourism commentators in the Jeju. To this end, a questionnaire was constructed with items related to the attributes of the barrier-free tourism environment through literature review related to barrier-free tourism, and 149 valid samples were secured for cultural and tourism commentators and the IPA technique was used. As a result of the empirical analysis, ‘keep up the good work’ included physical external accessibility items such as ‘accessibility to public transportation’, ‘parking lot’, and ‘main entrance’. The ‘under performance’ included items such as ‘road surface condition’, ‘slope’, and ‘rest facility’, as well as physical interior accessibility and convenience facilities. In addition, convenience facilities in tourist destinations such as ‘food and beverage facilities’, ‘shopping facilities’, and ‘mobile convenience equipment’ were included in the low-priority area, and ‘homepage accessibility’, ‘lighting’, and ‘ticket office’ were included in the possible overkill area. he results of this study can be used to establish barrier-free tourism environment policies from a practical point of view, such as providing basic academic data related to barrier-free tourism environments, building infrastructure for barrier-free tourism environments, improving service quality, and operating and managing barrier-free tourism products.

무장애 관광은 관광약자의 관광을 하고자 하는 권리인 참여권리의 보장과 취약계층이 편리하고 안전하게 여행할 수 있도록 관광환경의 조성이라고 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구는 제주지역 문화관광해설사를 대상으로 도내 주요 관광지의 무장애 관광환경 속성의 중요도-만족도 분석을 통해 무장애 관광환경의 학술적 접근과 실무적 시사점을 도출하고자 하였다. 이를 위해서 무장애 관광 관련 문헌고찰를 통해 무장애 관광환경의 속 성 관련 항목들로 설문지를 구성하였으며, 문화관광해설사들을 대상으로 149부의 유효표본을 확보하여 IPA 기법을 활용하였다. 실증분석 결과, ‘유지영역’에는 ‘대중교통 접근성’, ‘주차장’, ‘주출입구’, 등 물리적 외부 접근성 항목이 포함되었고, ‘집중영역’에는 ‘노면상태’, ‘경사로’, ‘휴게시설’ 등 물리적 내부 접근성 및 편의 이용시설 항목들이 포함되었다. 또한 저순위 영역에는 ‘식음료 시설’, ‘쇼핑시설’, ‘이동편의기구’ 등 관광지 내 편의이용시설들이 포함되었으며, 과잉영역에는 ‘홈페이지 접근성’, ‘조명’, ‘매표소’ 등이 포함되었다. 이 와 같은 연구 결과는 무장애 관광환경 관련 학술적 기초자료 제공과 더불어 무장애 관광환경의 인프라 구축 및 서비스 품질 향상, 무장애 관광상품의 운영관리 등 실무적 관점에서 무장애 관광환경 정책 수립에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
