A Qualitative Case Study on the Treatment of Sand Play in Psychology of a Middle-aged Woman Who Experienced Attachment Trauma

This study conducted 20 or 30 sessions of sand play therapy for two middle-aged women in their early 40s who are suffering from continuous emotional confusion and social adaptation due to their growing attachment trauma experience. As a result of analyzing the cases described by the study participants, topics such as , , , , , and were derived, and attachment trauma experiences remained negative in the lives of the study participants. Through sand play therapy, the study participants found the meanings of , , , , , and , and showed a positive attitude and future.

본 연구는 성장기에 애착 외상 경험으로 정서적 혼란과 사회적응에 어려움을 경험하고 중년기에 겪는 신체 적, 정서적 혼란감을 호소하는 40대 여성 2명을 대상으로 20∼30회기 모래놀이치료를 실시하였다. 연구참여자가 서술한 내용으로 사례를 분석한 결과 <열악한 성장환경>, <내적 작동모델>, <중년여성의 불안정한 심리>, <변 화의 필요성을 인식>, <모래놀이를 통한 경험>, <새로운 도전>이란 주제가 도출되었다. 애착 외상의 경험은 연 구참여자들의 삶에 부정적 모습으로 남아 있었다. 연구참여자들은 모래놀이 치료를 통해 <내면의 상처와 마주 함>, <상담을 통한 자기 인식>, <정서 조절>, <고통에서 벗어나고 싶음>, <자기 개방과 수용>, <변화를 시도 함>이라는 의미를 찾게 되었으며, 객관적으로 자기를 성찰하고 중년에 겪는 변화를 수용하려는 태도와 미래에 대 해 긍정적 모습을 보였다.
