Preaching that is faithful to the Bible conveys the biblical text. An expository sermon is a sermon that faithfully conveys the intention of the original author who recorded the text. Until now, expository sermons have tended to focus more on grasping and delivering the lessons and doctrinal lessons contained in the text. In the sermon, preachers tend to concentrate on the message contained in the text and Bible knowledge. However, to give a sermon faithful to the text, attention must be paid not only to the rational realm contained in the text but also to the emotional realm contained in the text. This is that the text of the Bible contains not only rational lessons but also emotional realms that give inspiration and emotion. Therefore, when the emotional impact of the text is included along with the spiritual message, it can be a balanced sermon that is faithful to the text of the Bible. This study intends to propose a preaching method for Psalms in which the message of the text and the emotions of the text are delivered in a balanced way. This study introduces and evaluates the history of Psalm preaching studies, considering the characteristics of the Bible genre, and introduces the main preaching elements to convey the message of the Psalms genre and the emotion of the Psalms text in Psalms sermons. In addition, the form of Psalms sermon and delivery skills can revive the emotions of the text.

성경에 충실한 설교는 성경 본문을 충실하게 전달한다. 강해설교는 여러 종류의 설교 중 성경 본문을 기록한 원저자의 의도를 충실히 전달 하려는 설교이다. 지금까지 강해설교는 본문에 담겨 있는 교훈과 교리 적인 가르침을 파악하고 전달하는 데 더 집중하는 경향이 있었다. 설교 중 본문이 담고 있는 메시지에 집중하여 성경 지식 전달에 좀더 치우치 기도 했다. 하지만 본문에 충실한 설교를 하기 위해서는 본문이 담고 있는 이성적인 영역뿐만 아니라 본문에 담겨 있는 감성적인 영역에도 관심을 기울여야 한다. 성경 본문에는 이성적인 교훈과 함께 감동과 감 흥을 주는 감성적인 영역도 함께 있기 때문이다. 따라서 영적 교훈과 함께 본문이 담고 있는 감성적인 영역까지 포함될 때 비로소 성경 본문 과 성경에 충실하면서도 균형 잡힌 설교라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 본문의 메시지와 본문의 감성이 균형 있게 전달되는 시편 설교 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 본 연구는 성경 장르의 특성을 고려한 시편 설교 연구의 역사를 소개하여 평가하고, 시편 장르의 메시지와 시 편 설교에서 시편 본문의 감성을 전달하기 위한 주요 설교 요소를 소개 한다. 또한 본문의 감성이 살아날 수 있는 시편 설교의 형태와 전달을 위해 고려할 부분을 간략히 제시한다.
