The purpose of this study is to analyze Kwon Woo's prose and examine its aspects. Maeheon Gwon-woo was a literary man active from the late Goryeo to the early Joseon. He laid the foundation for the founding of Joseon with his sentences and played a role in securing legitimacy. There are not many text materials from the late Goryeo and early Joseon. Kwon Woo's prose is also very limited. Therefore, research on Kwon Woo's prose has not been done. In the era when Kwon Woo was active, the literary world was formed around poetry, so his prose works are very brief. This study captured the characteristics penetrating Kwon Woo's prose. As a Gwan-gak literary man, Kwon Woo mainly wrote for the public. It turned out to be a characteristic of rejecting Buddhism, solidifying the cause of Confucianism, and trying to secure the legitimacy of Joseon by citing the concept of the Northern Expedition. This study was organized by dividing them into chapters. First of all, while examining the characteristics of the emphasis on solidifying the national foundation by the Confucian cause, it was found that the Confucian ideological framework was justified by the controversy over orientation. Confucian ideology was emphasized, insisting on cultivating people who inherited Confucian heritage. In addition, he solidified the foundation of Confucian ideology by de-scribing sentences that rejected Buddhism. Buddhism was a ideology that had long been established in people's lives and could not be easily denied. However, because it was necessary to reveal the thoughts of Joseon, which were differentiated from those of Goryeo, it was essential to pay. In addition, the legitimacy and legitimacy of the founding of Joseon was emphasized by describing sentences about barbarians. Most of Kwon Woo's sentences were created in mock. This shows the level before the development of prose aesthetics at the time, and shows one part of the literary style at the time when the sentence was developed through mocking.

본 연구는 권우의 산문을 분석하여 그 양상을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 매헌 권우 는 고려 말에서 조선 초에 활동한 문인이다. 그는 문장으로 조선 개국의 기틀을 다지고 정당성을 확보하는 역할을 하였다. 고려 말과 조선 초의 문장 자료는 많지 않다. 권우의 산문도 매우 제한적이다. 그렇기 때문에 권우의 산문에 대한 연구는 이루어지지 않은 실 정이다. 권우가 활동하던 시대는 시 중심으로 문단이 형성되었기 때문에 산문 작품은 매 우 소략하다. 본 연구는 권우의 산문을 관통하는 특징을 포착하였다. 권우는 관각문인으 로서 주로 공적인 차원에서 글을 지었다. 불교를 배척하고 유교적 명분을 확고히 하였으 며, 북벌의 개념을 들어 조선의 정당성을 확보하고자 하는 특징으로 드러났다. 본 연구는 이를 각 장으로 나누어 구성하였다. 우선 유교적 명분에 의한 국가적 기틀을 확고하게 하는 데 중점을 둔 특징을 살펴보면서, 유교적 이념의 기틀은 배향 논쟁으로 정당화하였 다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 유교적 적통을 이은 인물을 중심으로 배양할 것을 주장하면서, 유교적 이념을 강조하였다. 아울러 불교를 배척하는 문장을 서술함으로써 유교 이념의 기틀을 확고히 하였다. 불교는 민중의 삶에 오랫동안 자리 잡아 온 사상으로서 쉽게 부정 할 수 없었다. 그러나 고려와 차별화된 조선의 사상을 드러내야만 했기에 배불은 필수적 인 것이었다. 또한, 오랑캐에 대한 문장을 서술함으로써 조선 개국의 정당성과 적통성을 강조하였다. 권우의 문장은 모의로 창작한 것이 대부분이다. 이는 당시 산문 미학이 발전하기 이전 단계의 수준을 보여주는 것으로, 모의를 통해 문장을 개진했던 당시 문풍의 일단을 보여준다.
