The purpose of this study is to empirically identify the effects of school satisfaction of elementary school students who did not participate in sports activities during the COVID-19 period on stress and smartphone dependence through a structural equation model. The study was conducted after sampling 336 elementary school students who were attending an elementary school located in I city and had no experience participating in sports activities inside or outside the school during the COVID-19 period. Data analysis was performed using SPSS 28.0, AMOS 22.0 and Microsoft Excel 16.0. First, in the effect of school satisfaction on stress and smartphone dependence of elementary school students who did not participate in sports activities during the COVID-19 period, teacher satisfaction was related to smartphone dependence, environmental satisfaction to mental stress and physical stress, and self-satisfaction. In addition, mental stress has a positive (+) effect on physical stress, and physical stress has a positive (+) effect on smartphone dependence. Second, the indirect effects of stress on the relationship between school satisfaction and smartphone dependence of elementary school students are as follows. Teacher satisfaction had a direct effect on smartphone dependence, and it also had an effect on smartphone dependence through physical stress, so there is a partial mediating effect. Environmental satisfaction and self-satisfaction did not show a direct influence on smartphone dependence, but were indirectly influenced by mental stress and physical stress, showing a negative (-) influence on smartphone dependence, so there is a complete mediating effect.

이 연구는 코로나 시기 스포츠활동에 참여하지 않은 초등학생의 학교만족감이 스트레스와 스마 트폰의존성에 미치는 영향을 구조방정식 모형을 통해 실증적으로 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 연구는 I 시 소재의 초등학교에 재학 중이며, 코로나 기간 중에 교내․외 스포츠활동에 참여한 경험이 없는 초등학생 336명을 표집한 후 수행하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 28.0과 AMOS 22.0및 MIcrosoft Excel 16.0을 활용하여 분석하였다. 첫째, 코로나 기간 중에 스포츠활동에 참여하지 않은 초등학생의 학교 만족감이 스트레스와 스마트폰의존성에 미치는 영향에서 교사만족감은 스마트폰의존성, 환경만족감 은 정신적스트레스와 신체적스트트레스, 그리고 자기만족감은 신체적스트레스에 통계적으로 유의한 음(-)적 영향력을 미치고 있다. 정신적스트레스는 신체적스트레스에 양(+)적 영향력을 보이고, 신체적 스트레스는 스마트폰의존성에 양(+)적 영향력을 나타내고 있다. 둘째, 초등학생의 학교만족감과 스마 트폰의존성의 관계에서 스트레스가 미치는 간접효과는 다음과 같다. 교사만족감은 스마트폰의존성 에 직접적인 영향을 미쳤고, 신체적스트레스를 매개로 해서도 스마트폰의존성에 영향을 미쳤으므로 부분적인 매개효과가 있다. 환경만족감과 자기만족감은 스마트폰의존성에 직접적인 영향력을 보이 지 않았고, 정신적스트레스와 신체적스트레스에 간접 영향을 받아 스마트폰의존성에 음(-)적 영향력 을 나타내고 있음을 보여줌으로써 완전한 매개효과가 있다.
