The purpose of this study was to improve the educational process to strengthen the professionalism of caregivers known to play a key role in the long-term care service system for the elderly. Therefore, in the process of fostering nursing care workers, characteristics of perceptions of those who experienced alternative practice were identified, typified, and explored through the Q methodology to confirm the meaning. In order to form the Q population, four study participants were interviewed in advance. Q samples on a total of 34 trainees' alternative practice education experiences were extracted through interview content and literature analysis. Q classification was conducted for 22 study participants. P samples were male and female trainees educated at the caregiver training center, 22 caregiver trainees with nursing assistant and social worker licenses corresponding to long-term care workers, and caregiver trainees corresponding to the general new class. Three recognition factors extracted by analyzing the data collected in Q sorting with the PC QUANL program explained 40.6% of the total variance. They were ‘rational inquiry’, ‘critical analysis’, and ‘realistic satisfaction’. According to implications of research results, this study proposes that it is important to improve the curriculum that can strengthen the professional competency of caregivers who respond to the era of integrated care in the community.

본 연구는 노인장기요양 서비스 체계에서 핵심적 역할을 담당하는 요양보호사의 전문성 강화를 위한 교육과정의 개선을 목적으로 한다. 이에 요양보호사 양성 교육과정에서 대체실습 경험자의 인식의 특성을 파악하고, 유형화하여 그 의미를 확인하고자 Q방법론을 통하여 탐색하였다. Q모집단을 구성하기 위해 4명 의 연구 참여자와 사전 인터뷰를 나누었고, 인터뷰 내용과 문헌분석을 통하여 총 34개의 교육생들의 대체 실습 교육경험에 관한 Q표본을 추출한 후 연구 참여자 22명에게 Q분류를 실시하였다. P표본은 요양보호사 교육원에서 교육받는 남녀 교육생들로, 장기요양요원에 해당되는 간호조무사, 사회복지사 자격증을 소지한 요양보호사 교육생과 일반 신규반에 해당하는 요양보호사 교육생 22명이다. Q소팅에서 수집된 데이터를 PC QUANL프로그램으로 분석하여 추출된 3개의 인식 요인은 전체 변량의 40.6%를 설명하였고, 제1유형 ‘이성적 탐구형’, 제2유형 ‘비판적 분석형’, 제3유형 ‘현실적 만족형’으로 명명하였다. 연구 결과 나타난 함 의에 따라 지역사회 통합돌봄 시대에 부응하는 요앙보호 인력의 전문적 역량을 강화할 수 있는 교육과정 개선을 위한 방안을 제언하였다.
