Pastors have an excessive sense of responsibility to directly solve the problems and conflicts that their members experience in their lives. If a church member is experiencing problems and conflicts for which the cause can be easily identified, the pastor can take care of the church members relatively easily. However, if the church members themselves do not understand the cause of their problems and conflicts, the pastor will find it difficult to take care of the church members. In particular, if the symptom of a problem between a church member and a pastor is related to sex, it is more difficult for the pastor to deal with it than other problems. Of course, unethical issues related to sexuality within the church are disgraceful to both the church community and pastors, so the church community tries to keep them secret in order not to be known to people, and even if they become known, they try to cover it up somehow without making it public. For this reason, people believe that sexual problems and conflicts never arise between pastors and church members. However, as a counselor, I met quite a few pastors who complained of suffering from sexual problems with church members, and witnessed situations where these symptoms destroyed the existence and dignity of pastors, their families, and other church members, and realized the seriousness of the problem. In this study, I thought that the cause of the abnormal sexual relationship between the pastor and the church member was the 'transference-love' caused by the 'repressed unconscious power' of the church member dynamic in the relationship between the pastor and the object. And I want to find a solution to this based on psychoanalysis and pastoral counseling theory. I hope that this study will be of some help in resolving sexual problems and conflicts between pastors and church members that threaten the church community.

교인들의 신앙뿐만 아니라 정신과 영혼까지 돌봐야 하는 목회자는 교인들이 겪는 교회 안팎의 문제와 갈등을 자주 접하게 된다. 이는 대부분 목회자와 직접 관련이 없 는 것들이지만 만약 목회자와의 관계 안에서 발생된 문제와 갈등이라면 목회자는 이 를 해결해야 한다는 과도한 책임감을 갖게 된다. 그 중엔 현실적-가시적으로 표현되 어 현상의 원인을 쉽게 파악할 수 있고, 이로 인해 목회자가 어렵지 않게 돌볼 수 있 는 문제들도 있지만 교인 스스로도 그 원인을 파악하지 못하고, 이를 문제로 인식하 지도 못할 때에는 목회자의 돌봄이 불가능하여 목회자가 난처함을 느끼기도 한다. 특 히 교인과 목회자 사이에서 일어난 문제의 증상이 성과 관련되어 있다면 다른 문제들 보다 목회자가 대하기 더욱 어려울 수밖에 없다. 물론 이를 드러냄 자체가 터부시 되 어 알려지지 않거나, 알려지더라도 이를 어떻게든 공론화시키지 않고 감추려하기에 많은 이들은 교회 공동체 내 목회자와 교인 관계에서는 결코 이러한 현상과 증상이 발생되지 않는다 여긴다. 그러나 연구자는 상담자로서 이 문제로 상처입고 고통을 호 소하는 사람들을 적지 않게 만났으며, 이 증상이 당사자들과 이해 관계자들의 실존과 존엄성을 파괴시키는 상황을 목격하며 문제의 심각성을 깨달았다. 이 연구에서 연구 자는 목회자와 교인 사이의 비정상적인 성적 관계의 원인을 교인의 억압되어 있던 무 의식의 힘이 목회자와의 관계 안에서 역동을 일으켜 발생되는 ‘전이-사랑’ 관점으로 바라보고 해결의 방법을 정신분석과 목회 상담의 도움을 통해 모색하고자 한다. 연구 자는 이 연구가 교회 공동체를 위협하는 목회자와 교인 사이의 성적 문제와 갈등을 풀어나가는데 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 희망한다.
