Fred Craddock’s inductive preaching has had a significant influence on contemporary homiletics. However, it is still unfamiliar in the preaching field of the Korean church due to the difficulty in preparing compared to deductive preaching. Moreover, although Craddock succeeded in advocating for inductive preaching over traditional deductive preaching, he did not provide a specific sermon form on how to conduct inductive preaching. Therefore, this study proposes a specific sermon form for inductive preaching by examining the application of Thomas Groome’s Shared Praxis to inductive preaching. First, the study clarifies the theoretical similarities between Craddock’s inductive preaching and Groome’s Shared Praxis. The parallels between the two theories that emerge provide a rationale for using Shared Praxis as a sermon form for inductive preaching. Next, this study briefly summarizes the five movements of Shared Praxis, which will be used as a sermon form for inductive preaching. Finally, the study presents a sermon form that applies the five movements of Shared Praxis to inductive preaching. The proposed sermon form for inductive preaching will be helpful for preachers in the field who are struggling between theory and practice. Additionally, this study utilizes the study of Christian education in the field of homiletics, and it is common knowledge that preaching is closely related to other theological disciplines. The interdisciplinary nature of preaching not only allows but also supports an interdisciplinary approach to the study of preaching. This study serves as an example of interdisciplinary homiletics research.

Fred Craddock의 귀납적 설교는 현대 설교학 논의에 큰 영향을 끼쳤 지만, 한국 교회 설교 현장에서는 귀납적 설교가 여전히 낯설다. 그 이 유는 귀납적 설교가 연역적인 설교에 비해 준비하기가 쉽지 않기 때문 이다. 더욱이, Craddock은 전통적인 연역적 설교 대신 귀납적 설교를 해야 한다고 주장하는 일에는 크게 성공을 거두었으나, 귀납적인 설교 를 실제로 어떻게 하는지에 대해서 구체적 설교 형식을 남기지 않았다. 그래서 이 논문은 Craddock이 외면했던 귀납적 설교를 구현할 수 있는 한 가지 설교 형식을 제안하고자 하는데, 기독교 교육학자인 Thomas Groome이 고안한 나눔의 프락시스(Shared Praxis)를 귀납적 설교에 적용하는 방안을 검토할 것이다. 이를 위해, 우선 Craddock의 귀납적 설교와 Groome의 나눔의 프락시스의 이론적 유사점을 밝힐 것 인데, 연구를 통해 드러나는 두 이론 사이의 유사점은 나눔의 프락시스 를 귀납적 설교의 형식으로 전용하는 근거를 마련해 줄 것이다. 다음으 로, 나눔의 프락시스의 과정인 다섯 무브먼트를 간략히 정리할 것인데, 이 다섯 무브먼트는 귀납적 설교를 구현하는 형식으로 사용된다. 마지 막으로, 다섯 무브먼트를 귀납적 설교에 적용한 형식을 제시할 것이다. 이 논문에서 제안하는 귀납적 설교 구성을 위한 구체적 형식은 이론과 실천 사이에서 고충을 겪는 현장 설교자들에게 적지 않은 도움이 될 것이다. 그뿐만 아니라, 이 논문은 기독교 교육학 연구를 설교학 연구 에 활용하고 있는데, 설교는 모든 신학의 꽃 혹은 열매라고 부를 수 있 을 정도로 여타 다른 신학 분과와 긴밀한 관련성을 지니고 있다는 것은 상식이다. 설교의 간학문적 성격은 설교 연구에 있어서 간학문적 접근 을 허용할 뿐 아니라 지지한다. 이 논문은 간학문적 설교학 연구의 하 나의 예가 될 것이다.
