The term ‘classroom collapse’ is already old, and teachers and students are experiencing many difficulties in the classroom community in crisis. Therefore, this study sought to derive strategies to overcome the crisis of the classroom community based on the spirit of Hyangyak and the 4 major rules and aimed to propose a framework and principles for the formation of a moral classroom community. To this end, the characteristics of Hyangyak community and classroom community were analyzed. In addition, through this, two frameworks were established to make the classroom into a moral community. One is moral orientation and solidarity, and the other is moral regulations and consensus. In addition, the principles and examples of applying this framework at the classroom level were also suggested. Hyangyak is a long tradition, but the spirit of the moral community and the 4 major rules contained in it will play an important role in the formation and operation of the moral classroom community.

‘교실 붕괴’라는 말이 이미 오래되었으며, 위기의 학급 공동체 안에 서 교사와 학생들은 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 향약의 정신과 4대 강목에서 학급 공동체의 위기를 극복하는 방안을 도출하 고, 이를 도덕적 학급 공동체 구성의 틀과 원리로 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 향약 공동체와 학급 공동체의 성격을 분석하였다. 또한 이 것을 근거로 학급을 도덕 공동체로 만드는 두 가지 틀을 설정하였다. 하나는 도덕적 지향과 연대이고 또 하나는 도덕적 규정과 합의이다. 그리고 이 틀을 학급 단위에서 적용하는 원리와 사례도 제안했다. 향 약은 오래된 전통이지만, 그 속에 담긴 도덕 공동체의 정신과 4대 강 목은 도덕적 학급 공동체 구성과 운영에 중요한 역할을 할 것이다.
