This study was conducted to discuss practical measures to cultivate the core values of sincerity, caring, justice, and responsibility proposed by the 2022 revised elementary moral curriculum. The core values of the 2022 revised elementary moral curriculum play a similar role to the core competencies presented in the national curriculum in the process of applying the curriculum and confirming the results. This is stated in sentence form with the name of the core idea. As a practical way to cultivate this core value, we can borrow Dewey's transaction. According to Dewey's transaction, when an observer meets another person, emotions are born due to qualitative thinking, and at the same time, the total amount of self-knowledge is reconstructed and theoretical thinking is triggered, leading to improved behavior compared to before. This perspective can be a way to promote the practical cultivation of core values to which the 2022 revised elementary moral curriculum is applied.

본 연구는 2022 개정 초등 도덕과 교육과정이 제안하고 있는 성실, 배려, 정의, 책임의 핵심 가치를 함양하는 실질적인 방안을 논의하기 위해 진행되었다. 2022 개정 초등 도덕과 교육과정의 핵심 가치는 교육 과정의 적용 및 결과 확인의 과정에서, 총론이 제시한 핵심역량과 유사 한 역할을 하는 것으로, 핵심 아이디어라는 이름의 문장형으로 기술되 어 있다. 이 핵심 가치를 함양하기 위한 실질적인 방안으로 듀이의 교 변작용에 대한 이론을 차용할 수 있다. 듀이의 교변작용에 의하면 관찰 자가 대상과 조우할 때 질성적 사고로 정서가 배태되면서, 자기 지식 총체가 재구성됨과 동시에 이론적 사고가 촉발되어, 이전에 비해 개선 된 행위로 이어진다. 이 관점은 2022 개정 초등 도덕과 교육과정이 적 용된 핵심 가치의 실질적인 함양을 도모할 수 있는 방안이 될 수 있다.
