Social change promotes the increase in crime, and the method of crime is gradually specializing and diversifying. Humans instinctively wanted to live in a safe place while being recognized and protected for the value of their life, body, or property, and as a result, the concept of security and security naturally began and developed. Recognizing this, universities first opened a curriculum in 1996 to foster professionals in the field of security and security, and there are currently 14 departments related to security and security that have been opened on a four-year basis. It is important for the educational institution of universities to build theoretical knowledge, but it is a small society that helps students socialize smoothly before entering society, so it is obligated to provide practical help to students smoothly move toward society. Therefore, this study conducted a study to move from the curriculum of the department that can directly affect students to a curriculum that can help students advance into society after graduation, and suggested improvement measures after deriving problems. The problems were the concentration of subjects, the lack of steady curriculum reform, and the lack of practical subjects, and the improvement measures were suggested as the expansion of 4th industry-related subjects, the systematization of security and security-related subjects, and the expansion of field practice classes. As the current social environment and industrial status change rapidly, continuous curriculum reform is required accordingly.

사회적 변화는 범죄의 증가를 촉진하며 범죄의 방식은 점차 전문화･다양화하고 있다. 인간은 본능적으로 안전한 곳에서 자신의 생명과 신체 혹은 재산 등의 가치를 인정･보호받으면서 살기 원하여 그 결과 경호･보안이라는 개념이 자연스럽게 태동 하고 발전하게 되었다. 이를 인지하고 대학들에서는 경호･보안 분야의 전문인력 양 성을 위해 교육과정을 1996년 처음 개설하였고 현재 4년제로 개설된 경호･보안 관련 학과는 14개이다. 대학이라는 교육기관은 이론적 지식을 쌓는 것도 중요하나 학생들이 원활하게 사 회로 나아가는 데에 실질적인 도움이 되어야 할 의무가 있다. 따라서 이 연구는 학생 들에게 직접적으로 영향을 행사할 수 있는 학과의 교육과정이 학생들이 졸업 후 사 회진출을 하는 데에 실질적인 도움이 될 수 있는 교육과정으로 나아가고자 연구를 진행하였고 문제점을 도출한 후 개선방안을 제시하였다. 문제점으로는 교과목의 편 중화, 꾸준한 교육과정 개편의 부재, 실습 교과목 부족이 도출되었고, 이에 대한 개선 방안으로는 4차 산업 관련 교과목 증설, 경호･보안 관련 학과명과 교과목의 체계화, 현장 실습 수업 증설로 제시하였다. 현 사회적 환경과 산업 현황이 급격하게 변화함 에 따라 이에 맞춰 지속적인 교육과정 개편이 요구된다.
