The Purpose of this study is to design a platform business profit model framework, identify problems in the platform economy, and present directions for improvement plans. To this end, the attributes of the platform business were defined through consideration of previous studies, and the profit model framework was designed accordingly. Problems according to the type of profit were derived based on previous literatures that analyzed domestic and foreign platform business cases and interviews with platform industry workers using the framework presented in the study. As a result of the study, it was found that the platform business has distinct characteristics depending on whether the products and services presented to customers are tangible or digital assets, and that the value exchange between platform participants takes a different form depending on whether profits are generated or not. In addition, it was confirmed that the problem of monopoly by winner-take-all, profit distribution and compensation, and platform labor such as mass production of ultra-short-term workers are concentrated in what kind of profit model and type. As a way to improve the platform economy, we looked at the possibility of a protocol economy from the perspective of technology-based resolution, discussions on data sharing, data intellectual property rights, and data taxes from the perspective of institutional improvement, and aspects of the related industries. This study has academic value in that it designed the platform business profit model framework and specifically defined the platform economy's profit type, and it also has practical value in that it presents the need for improvement by specifying the problems of the platform economy through domestic and foreign business cases.

본 연구의 목적은 플랫폼 비즈니스 수익모델 프레임워크를 설계하고 플랫폼 경제의 문제점들을 파악하여 그 개선방안에 대한 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 선행연구들에 대한 고찰을 통해 플랫폼 비즈니스의 속 성을 정의하고 그에 따른 수익모델 프레임워크를 설계하였다. 연구에서 제시된 프레임워크를 사용하여 국내외 플랫폼 비즈니스 사례를 분석한 선행문헌과 플랫폼 산업계 종사자 인터뷰를 토대로 수익유형에 따른 문제점들 을 도출하였다. 연구의 결과로 플랫폼 비즈니스는 고객에게 제시되는 제품과 서비스가 유형 자산인지 디지털 자산인지에 따라 구별된 특성을 갖고 있고, 플랫폼 참여자 간의 가치교환을 통해 거래 과정 내에서 수익이 발 생하는지 아니면 거래 과정 밖에서 발생하는지에 따라 다른 형태를 띠고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 오늘날 플랫폼 경제의 문제점으로 지적되는, 승자독식에 의한 독과점의 문제, 수익분배와 보상의 문제, 그리고 초단기 근로자 양산이라는 플랫폼 노동의 문제가 어떠한 수익모델과 유형에서 집중화 되어있는지를 확인할 수 있었다. 플랫폼 경제의 개선방안으로서 기술기반 해결의 관점에서 프로토콜 경제의 가능성과 제도개선의 관점에서 데 이터의 사회적 공유, 데이터 지식재산권, 그리고 데이터세에 대한 논의와 산업계의 관점을 살펴보았다. 본 연구 는 플랫폼 비즈니스 수익모델 프레임워크를 설계하고 그에 따른 플랫폼 경제의 수익유형을 구체적으로 정의하 였다는 점에서 학술적 가치를 지니며, 국내외 비즈니스 사례를 통해서 플랫폼 경제가 지니고 있는 문제점들을 구체화하여 개선의 필요성을 제시하고 있다는 점에서 실무적 가치를 지닌다.
