『Yeok-eoyuhae』 and 『Bang-eonyuseok』 are representative classification lexicon published in Joseon in the 17th and 18th centuries, and are important literature materials for studying the vocabulary and pronunciation of modern Chinese. In this paper, the cultural vocabulary contained in 『Yeok-eoyuhae』 and 『Bang-eonyuseok』 was divided into meanings and types, and the vocabulary and its changing aspects were identified. I also looked at the cultural image of the Qing Dynasty which was reflected in the cultural vocabulary. The main contents of this study can be divided as follows. First, investigation and arrangement of cultural vocabulary in 『Yeok-eoyuhae』 and 『Bang-eonyuseok』 were carried out. Cultural vocabulary was divided into food culture vocabulary, clothing culture vocabulary, residential culture vocabulary, commercial culture vocabulary, profanity culture vocabulary, etc. Second, modern Chinese cultural vocabulary classification and analysis were performed. Vocabularies of 『Yeok-eoyuhae』 and 『Bang-eonyuseok』, which are divided into categories by cultural meaning, were classified by detailed meaning, and classification and analysis were carried out according to the word construction method. Third, based on 『Hong-lu-mong』, I explored the cultural image of China in the Qing dynasty. By referring to the papers that studied artistic characteristics and cultural value of 『Hong-lu-mong』, I investigated what kind of era and cultural image the corresponding cultural vocabulary reflects. Through the discussion in this paper, it is hoped that a wide range of research on the cultural vocabulary contained in 『Yeok-eoyuhae』 and 『Bang-eonyuseok』 can be conducted, and furthermore, this study can serve as a basis for making classification lexicon accessible from various perspectives.

『譯語類解』와 『方言類釋』은 17∼18세기 조선에서 간행된 대표적인 類解類 譯學書로, 近代漢語의 어휘와 어음을 연구하는 데 있어 중요한 의의를 지니는 문헌자료이다. 본고는 『譯語類解』와 『方言類釋』에 수록된 문화어휘들을 의미·종류별로 나누어 어휘 및 그 변천 양상을 확인하였고, 그리고 『紅樓夢』 문화어휘와 비교하여 어휘 사용 양상의 공통점과 차이점을 살펴보았고 문화어휘에 반영된 淸代 중국 문화상 또한 살펴보았다. 연구 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 『譯語類解』와 『方言類釋』에 수록된 문화어휘들의 조사 및 정리 작업을 진행하였다. 문화어휘들을 음식문화 어휘, 복식문화 어휘, 주거문화 어휘, 욕설문화 어휘 등으로 나누어 조사하고 정리하여 연구를 위한 기초 작업을 진행하였다. 둘째, 근대중국어 문화어휘 분류 및 분석을 수행하였다. 문화적 의미별로 부류가 나누어져 있는 『譯語類解』와 『方言類釋』의 어휘들을 세부 의미별로 분류하고 또 단어 구성방식에 따라 분류 및 분석을 진행하였다. 셋째, 『紅樓夢』을 바탕으로 淸代 중국의 문화상을 알아보았다. 『紅樓夢』의 예술적 성격과 문화적 가치 등을 연구한 논문들을 참고하여 해당 문화어휘가 어떤 시대상과 문화상을 반영하는지 알아보았다. 본고의 논의를 거쳐 『譯語類解』와 『方言類釋』에 수록되어 있는 문화어휘에 대한 폭넓은 연구가 진행될 수 있기를 바라며, 나아가 향후 『譯語類解』와 『方言類釋』등의 유해류 역학서를 다양한 관점에서 접근할 수 있게 만드는 토대가 될 수 있기를 기대한다.
