The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of the professor-student exchange relationship of dance majors on the intention to continue dance and the mediating effect of dance ability achievement. To achieve the purpose of the study, 430 men and women majoring in dance at six four-year universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do were sampled through convenience extraction using a questionnaire measuring professor-student exchange relationship, dance continuity intention, and dance ability achievement. After reviewing the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and structural equation model analysis were conducted using SPSS 24.0 and Amos 24.0 programs for statistical analysis, and the results derived after analysis are as follows. First, it was found that the professor-student exchange relationship of dance major students had an effect on the achievement of dance ability. Second, it was found that the dance achievement ability of dance majors had an effect on the intention to continue dance. Third, it was found that the professor-student exchange relationship of dance major students had an effect on the intention to continue dance. Fourth, it was found that the achievement of dance ability plays a mediating role in the effect of the professor-student exchange relationship of dance majors on the intention to continue dance.

본 연구는 무용전공대학생의 교수-학생 교환관계가 무용지속의도에 미치는 영향과 무용능력성취의 매개효과를 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 서울 및 경기도에 소재한 4년제 대학 6곳의 무용전공 대학생 남녀 430명을 대상으로 교수-학생 교환관계, 무용지속의도, 무용능력성취를 측정하는 설문지를 사용하 여 편의추출법을 통해 표집하였다. 설문지의 설문 문항의 타당도와 신뢰도를 검토한 후 사용하였으며 통계분석 을 위해 SPSS 24.0과 Amos 24.0 프로그램을 이용해 신뢰도 분석, 상관분석, 구조방정식 모델 분석 등을 실시 하였으며, 분석 후 도출한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 무용전공대학생의 교수-학생 교환관계가 무용능력성취에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 무용전공대학생의 무용성취능력이 무용지속의도에 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났다. 셋째, 무용전공대학생의 교수-학생 교환관계가 무용지속의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 무용전공대학생의 교수-학생 교환관계가 무용지속의도에 미치는 영향에서 무용능력성취는 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다.
