This study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship among emotional intelligence, dance commitment, and self-realization for female university students majoring in dance, to foster higher-level dancers and contribute to the happiness of individual dancers. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, a total of 360 questionnaires were distributed to university students majoring in dance at six universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do between March and April 2022, and a total of 327 of them were collected and used for the final analysis. In this study, frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis were conducted using the SPSS 21.0 statistical program to derive the following research results. First, it was found that the emotional intelligence of female university students majoring in dance had a significant effect on dance commitment. Second, it was found that the emotional intelligence of female university students majoring in dance had a significant effect on self-realization. Third, it was found that the dance commitment of female university students majoring in dance had a significant effect on self-realization. Therefore, this study identified an important fact that improving the emotional intelligence of female university students majoring in dance not only contributes to the dancer's artistic ability but also increases happiness by contributing to self-realization. This is expected to contribute to the formation of knowledge related to dance majors and to establish directions for educational development.

본 연구는 무용전공 여자대학생을 대상으로 감성지능과 무용몰입 및 자아실현의 관련성을 규명하여 더 높은 단계의 무용수의 양성 및 무용수 개개인의 행복에 기여하려는 목적 하에 수행되었다. 이러한 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하 여 2022년 3월~4월 중 서울 및 경기 6개 대학교의 무용학과 재학생을 대상으로 설문지 총 360부를 배포해 그 중 총 327부를 수거하여 최종 분석에 활용하였다. 본 연구는 SPSS 21.0 통계 프로그램을 활용하여 빈도분석, 확인적 요인분석, 상관분석, 다중회귀분석 등을 실시하여 다음과 같은 연구를 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 무용전공 여대생의 감성지능이 무용몰입에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 무용전공 여대생의 감성지능이 자아실현에 유 의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 무용전공 여대생의 무용몰입이 자아실현에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으 로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구는 무용전공 여대생의 감성지능을 향상시키는 것이 무용 몰입을 향상시켜 무용수의 예술 적 능력에 기여할 뿐 아니라 자아실현에 이바지하여 행복감을 높일 수 있다는 중요한 사실을 규명하였다. 이는 무용 전공 관련 지식체 형성에 기여하고 무용전공 교육 발전 방향 설정에 이바지할 것을 기대하는 바이다.
