Antioxidant activity of Pleurotus ostreatus mycelium cultured in PDB medium added to aronia powder

This study was conducted to confirm the antioxidant effect of the EtOH extract mycelium of Pleurotus ostreatus grown in PDB medium added to aronia powder. For this study, aronia powder was added to the PDB medium, and an untreated PDB medium was used as a control. As a result of confirming the radical scavenging activity of the EtOH extract mycelium in each medium, DPPH radical scavenging activity was found to be 61.18% in the treatment group and 23.40% in the control group. And ABTS was 59.83% in the treatment group and 24.81% in the control group. Therefore, it was confirmed that the radical scavenging activity of the Pleurotus ostreatus mycelium grown in the medium added to aronia was higher than untreated medium.
