The purpose of this study was to explore the aspects of teaching that university professors paid attention to in running the 'Physical Class Using New Sports' course. n this study, data were collected based on the class diaries of the research participants, and the results of analysis using the inductive category analysis method are as follows. First, the contents of new sports drew attention in terms of cognitive understanding and thinking about class management and thoughts and understanding about new sports experience. Second, in terms of thoughts and understanding of the operation method of the new sports lecture, the contents and thoughts that were paid attention to in the understanding stage, experience stage, and communication stage were derived. Third, the method of delivery of learning contents by instructors was categorized into verbal explanation, demonstration, and media use. The discussion analyzed and interpreted the meaning and performance aspects of paying attention in the new sports class in relation to previous studies. This study provides the elements necessary to maintain a good class flow through semantic analysis of the part that the instructor was interested in in the process of running 'PE class using new sports', and designs an efficient PE class operating plan.

본 연구는 대학교수가 ‘뉴스포츠를 활용한 체육수업’ 강좌 운영에서 주목한 교수 측면을 탐색하는 데 목적을 두었 다. 이 연구는 연구참여자의 수업일지를 토대로 자료를 수집하였고, 귀납적 범주 분석을 활용하여 자료를 분석하였 다. 첫째, 뉴스포츠 내용은 수업 운영에 관한 인지적 이해와 생각, 뉴스포츠 체험에 관한 생각과 이해 측면에서 주 목한 내용이 도출되었다. 둘째, 뉴스포츠 강좌의 운영 방식에 관한 생각과 이해 측면에서는 수업 전개구조로 이해 단계, 체험 단계, 소통 단계에서 주목한 내용과 생각이 도출되었다. 셋째, 교수자의 학습내용 전달 방식은 언어적 설명, 시범 보이기, 매체 활용 등으로 범주화되었다. 논의에서는 뉴스포츠 수업에서 주목하기의 의미와 성과 측면을 선행연구와의 관계성 속에서 분석하고 해석하였다. 이 연구는 교수자가 ‘뉴스포츠를 활용한 체육수업’에서 주목한 내용의 의미와 가치 탐색을 통해 효율적인 체육수업 운영 방안을 어떻게 설계하고 운영해야 하는가에 관한 단서를 제공할 것이다.
