The purpose of this study is to provide data for improving the teaching-learning quality of elementary physical education by exploring the value orientation of physical education classes of on-site teachers and preservice teachers who have experienced a pandemic. To this end, descriptive statistical analysis and independent sample t-test were conducted using SPSS 18.0 on 188 copies of data collected from teachers belonging to G province and college students at C education university in G province. The research results are as follows. First, it was found that both preservice teachers and on-site teachers regard the value of self-realization as the most important. Second, in the case of preservice teachers, there was no difference in value orientation prioritized by gender. Third, in the case of on-site teachers, it was found that female teachers considered ecological integration value more important than male teachers. Fourth, it was found that on-site teachers considered the value of self-realization more important than preservice teachers. Fifth, it was found that preservice teachers valued the value of the learning process more than on-site teachers. Through the above results, the direction of improving the quality of teaching and learning in elementary physical education was discussed.

이 연구는 팬데믹(pandemic)을 겪은 현장교사와 예비교사들의 체육수업 가치정향을 탐색함으로써 초등체육의 교 수-학습 질 제고를 위한 자료를 제공하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위하여 G도 소속 교사와 G도 C 교육대학교 대학생을 대상으로 수집한 자료 188부를 SPSS 18.0을 사용하여 기술통계분석과 독립표본 t-검정을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비교사와 현장교사 모두 자아실현 가치를 가장 중요하게 여기는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 예비교사의 경우, 성별에 따라 우선시하는 가치정향에는 차이가 없었다. 셋째, 현장교사의 경우, 여교사가 생 태통합가치를 남교사보다 중요하게 여기는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 현장교사는 예비교사보다 자아실현 가치를 더 중요하게 여기는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 예비교사는 현장교사보다 학습과정 가치를 더 중요하게 여기는 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 결과를 통해 초등체육의 교수‧학습 질 제고 방향을 논의하였다.
