This study analyzed and considered the movie ‘Aloners’ with attention to the ‘change’ of the main character from the point of view of a counseling researcher, and extracted counseling implications based on related counseling theories. To this end, first, the isolation aspects of modern people expressed through film language such as narrative, visual expression, and context were examined, and how it affected the lives of the characters was analyzed. Then, focusing on the fact that the film focuses on the process of inner change of the main character over the subject of isolation, the discussion was conducted with a focus on Gestalt counseling. As a result of the study, first, the main character’s state of isolation was analyzed as a state in which ‘unsolved tasks’ remained because the emotion to be resolved did not come to the foreground. Second, through the process of ‘Awareness’, it was interpreted as an unsolved task rising to the foreground. Third, it was found that the process of ‘self-acceptance’ and ‘self-recognition’ in which the main character, who was not aware of emotional isolation, accepted it and changed, led the protagonist to become aware of it. Lastly, the process of change of the main character in the movie was examined through the personality change stage in Gestalt counseling, and it was confirmed that the process could be expressed as a continuous counseling scene. It is hoped that this study will provide an opportunity for awareness and contact enhancement to those who are in the isolation situation covered in the movie, and help them to escape from the isolation situation on their own through the formation of a holistic and circular gestalt. do.

이 연구는 영화 ‘혼자 사는 사람들’을 상담 연구자의 관점에서 주인공의 ‘변화’에 주목하여 분석 및 고찰하고, 관련된 상담이론을 중심으로 상담학적 함의를 추출하였다. 이를 위하여 먼저 서사 및 시각적 표현, 그리고 맥락 등의 영화 언어를 통해 표현된 현대인의 고립 양상 에 대해 살펴보고, 그것이 등장인물들의 삶에 어떠한 영향을 주었는지를 분석하였다. 이어서 영화가 고립이라는 소재를 놓고 주인공 내면의 변화 과정에 집중한다는 점에 착안하여 게슈 탈트 상담을 중심으로 논의를 진행하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 고립 상황에 있는 주인공의 상태 가 해소되어야 할 정서가 전경으로 떠오르지 못하여 ‘미해결 과제’가 남아있는 상태로 분석 되었다. 둘째, 고립된 상태로부터의 변화를 ‘알아차림’의 과정을 통해 미해결 과제가 전경으 로 떠오름으로 해석되었다. 셋째, 정서적 고립을 자각하지 못했던 주인공이 그것을 받아들이 고 변화하게 되는 ‘자기 수용’, ‘자기 인정’의 과정이 주인공으로 하여금 알아차림에 이르도 록 했음을 발견하였다. 마지막으로 영화 속 주인공의 변화 과정을 게슈탈트 상담에서의 성격 변화단계를 통해 고찰하여 그 과정이 연속적인 상담 장면으로 표현될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 이 연구가 영화 속에서 다루어진 양상의 고립 상황에 있는 이들에게 알아차림과 접촉의 증 진 기회를 제공해주고, 그들이 전체적이고 순환적인 게슈탈트 형성을 통해 고립 상황에서 스 스로 벗어날 수 있도록 도움을 줄 수 있기를 기대한다.
