The purpose of this study is to understand the research trend of domestic teacher leadership at a time when interest in teacher leadership is increasing in educational leadership, where principal leadership research was the main focus. To this end, 75 papers related to teacher leadership published in the domestic KCI-listed (candidate) academic journals (2016-2021) were selected for analysis and analyzed based on the subject of exercise, subject and area, leadership type, research topic, and research method. Major findings of this study were as follows. First, 37.3% of the subjects were elementary school teachers, followed by early childhood teachers and secondary school teachers. Second, the objects of teacher leadership were students, teachers themselves, co-workers, and the areas of exercise were education, self-development, community, and work in order. Third, among the types of teacher leadership studied in various ways, self-leadership was the most common with 38.2 percent, followed by emotional leadership and decentralized leadership with 12.7 percent, respectively. Fourth, teacher leadership effect analysis was dominant from 2016 to 2020, but leadership performance and behavior characteristics were the most common in 2021. Finally, 69.3 percent of the research methods were quantitative, accounting for a higher percentage than other research methods. This study is meaningful in that it comprehensively looked at the recent research trends of teacher leadership, including early childhood and special teachers, and attempted to analyze the changes in past research trends and the characteristics of Korean teacher leadership research.

교육리더십의 연구와 실제에 있어서 ‘교사의 리더십’에 대한 관심이 증가하는 상황에서, 이 연구는 국내 교사 리더십 연구의 최근 동향을 파악하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 2016년 부터 2021년까지 KCI 등재(후보)학술지에 게재된 교사 리더십 관련 논문 75편을 분석대상으 로 선정하여 발휘주체, 발휘대상 및 영역, 리더십 유형, 연구주제, 연구방법을 준거로 분석하 였다. 주요 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사 리더십의 발휘주체로는 초등교사가 37.3%로 가 장 많았고, 유아교사, 중등교사 순으로 연구되었다. 둘째, 교사 리더십의 발휘대상은 학생, 교 사자신, 동료교원 순, 발휘영역은 교육, 자기개발, 공동체, 업무 순으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교사 리더십의 유형은 다양하게 연구된 가운데 셀프 리더십이 38.2%로 가장 많았고, 감성 리더십 과 분산적 리더십이 각각 12.7%로 뒤를 이었다. 넷째, 연구주제는 2016년부터 2020년에는 교 사 리더십 효과 분석이 우세했으나 2021년에는 리더십 수행 및 행동특성이 가장 많았다. 마 지막으로, 연구방법은 양적연구가 69.3%로 다른 연구방법에 비해 높은 비중을 차지하였다. 이 연구는 교사 리더십의 최근 연구동향을 유아교사와 특수교사를 포함하여 종합적으로 조 망하고 이를 통해 과거 연구동향의 변화, 한국의 교사 리더십 연구의 특징 분석을 시도하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다.
