K-Pop music videos are now highly developed and have become content consumed worldwide. It is easily spreading through YouTube, etc., which further increases the popularity of K-Pop. BTS has become the epitome of K-Pop for people around the world and is currently the most popular K-Pop idol. This study saw that BTS' music videos were one of the success factors, so it was necessary to analyze and study the works of BTS' music videos. Among BTS' works, "Blood Sweat & Tears" was selected as the subject of analysis. This is because it is considered a milestone in BTS' global popularity. The narratives based on Hermann Hesse's novel Demian and the visual elements that help it were analyzed. Through literature research, BTS, K-Pop, and music videos were studied. The elements of borrowing in Demian that appeared in the music video and its meaning were analyzed. And, it was analyzed what meaning the art works used in the music video were combined with the theme of the music video. As a result of the analysis, it was found that Demian and art works appear organically in combination with each other to convey the theme consciousness of the music video. The music video of "Blood Sweat & Tears" is structured with narratives and Mise-en-Scène under the theme of finding an ego and becoming an adult, although the main character is confused as he grows up. Various contradictory symbols were placed, but it could be seen that they did not deviate from the subject. This improved the quality of the music video and was a factor in BTS' success.

K-Pop 뮤직비디오는 현재 고도로 발전되어 전세 계적으로 소비되는 콘텐츠가 되었다. 유튜브 등을 통 해 손쉽게 확산되고 있으며 이는 K-Pop 시장의 저 변을 확대한다. 이 중 BTS는 세계인들에게 K-Pop 의 대명사가 되었으며 현재 가장 인기 있는 K-Pop 아이돌이다. 본 연구는 BTS의 뮤직비디오가 성공 요인의 하나 라고 보았으며 뮤직비디오의 작품 분석을 통한 연구 가 필요하다고 보았다. BTS의 작품 중 성공의 분수 령이 되었다 여겨지는 <피 땀 눈물>을 분석 대상으로 선정하였다. 헤르만 헤세의 소설 󰡔데미안󰡕을 바탕으 로 한 내러티브와 이를 파악할 수 있게 해주는 시각 적 요소를 분석하였다. 문헌 연구를 통해 BTS와 K-Pop, 뮤직비디오와 K-Pop에 대해 고찰하였다. 뮤직비디오에 등장한 󰡔데미안󰡕에서의 차용 요소와 그 의미에 대해 분석하였으며 뮤직비디오에 사용된 미술 작품들이 뮤직비디오의 주제와 결합하여 어떤 의미를 갖게 되었는지 분석하였다. 분석 결과 󰡔데미안󰡕과 미술 작품들은 뮤직비디오의 주제 의식을 전달하기 위해 서로 유기적으로 결합하 여 등장하고 있음을 알 수 있었다. <피 땀 눈물>의 뮤직비디오는 주인공이 성장하며 혼란을 겪지만 자아 를 찾고 어른이 된다는 주제 아래 내러티브와 미장센 을 짜임새 있게 구축하였다. 여러 가지 모순되는 기 호들을 배치하였으나 주제를 벗어나지 않았음을 알 수 있었다. 이는 뮤직비디오의 퀄리티를 높이게 되었으며 BTS의 성공의 한 요인이 되었다고 본다.
